Christmas gift for my husband to be used to blow snow...he really likes it. Not for heavy, wet snow but great for a few inches.

The batteries last about 20 minutes, and take about an hour to recharge. I bought three total batteries with chargers, so I can keep operating. The item is costly, but I have 100 trees on my property, so it has the power I need, even more than my favorite handheld Hitachi.

So the whole pitch with Greenworks 80v line is they're supposed to offer equivalent power to the low end gas powered equipment while being quieter and easier to maintain than gas operated.Which generally they will actually do with a few exceptions from what I've seen. I would not consider them to be "pro" grade tools though. "Prosumer" also feels like a stretch. "Better than average but not really heavy duty" is what I'd refer to them as.If I was doing it for a living I wouldn't buy the Greenworks stuff outside of unusual rare use case circumstances. As of 2024 or so Husqvarna, Toro, and other big commercial lawn equipment OEM's have been putting out some proper heavy duty battery operated stuff that I'd use instead....if I could afford it!!I can't though, and gas operated isn't worth it for me either, so Greenworks 80v it is! But that is perfectly fine for your average home owner such as myself. I only work on the 1/3-ish acre lawn every other week or so anyways. This is my 2nd Greenworks 80v blower. The first died after something like 7yr of use. The motor didn't die. The plastic housing cracked when it was dropped though so that is my fault! Replaced it with this one and they seem fairly similar in performance. The biggest changes appear to be better battery ejection (a nice upgrade, sometimes it got stuck in the old one) and there is a small thumb lever to help retain the power trigger in running position which is great for relieving stress on the hands. They put a small piece of sheet metal over the tip of the blower end too so it doesn't split so easy anymore which is nice as well.Otherwise seems about the same to me! Which is fine since just like the old one it works quite well.Only issue with the blowers is that it'll run out the batteries incredibly fast on high. Maybe 20min run time with the """"cheap"""" 2ah battery. Having at least 1 extra battery is a must with the 80v line. Don't get the 4ah ones unless your using them for the mowers. They're too heavy to carry around in the tools.

Good power. Had a battery connection issue when first got it. Took it to get fixed they look at it and said they couldn't find a problem. It has worked good ever since. Not sure what it was but glad it is fixed. It would have been 5 stars but it had to be serviced before it worked properly.

First time out we blew heavy leaves for over an hour and still had tons of juice left in the battery. Loads of power to blow those heavy wet leaves or thick snow. For the extra heavy spots there's the turbo button too. This power packed unit really surprised me!

This is a great cordless blower that I have been using since I liberated myself from my Craftsman corded blower in July 2021. No problem with this blower after using it constantly since 2021 to routinely blow of gutter guards, patio, sidewalk, driveway, carport and sometimes other things. Blower is powerful, easy to use and CONVENIENT. Only drawback is it really draws the current from the battery compared to the Greenworks cordless string trimmer and hedge trimmer I have. I do usually use it at full power, (without the boost) for about 20 minutes before the battery gets too low and I switch to a 2nd battery. It doesn't seem to make any difference on run time between the 2.0 ah and 2.5 ah battery. Both of which I am still using since 2021.

I recently purchased the Greenworks 80v Chainsaw after reading so many good reviews from professionals, and was shocked to have it perform better than my gas 42cc chainsaw. I cut quite a bit of fresh hardwood and it cut through it like butter. It also never ran out of battery power and quickly recharged. Lots of power and well made. So I decided that battery powered yard tools with enough power have finally arrived, and I purchased this Greenworks 80v Leaf Blower, and it just confirmed that these tools clearly do have the power and battery life to allow me to get rid of my gas powered yard tools. This leaf blower is more than powerful enough for my needs. I put it to work on my 250' stone driveway that is covered by trees, and it was great even with multiple layers of leaves. If they last as long as most have claimed, I'll never buy a gas powered yard tool again. So much easier.

I had a ryobi 2 cycle gas blower for 10 years and it was just a pain to start. In fact it was at the point where it only ran for 10 seconds and then it would stall all the time. I'm sick of the maintenance with the gas equipment. I already have an 80V greenworks lawn mower and two batteries. I ended up giving my gas leaf blower away for free to a neighborhood hobbyist who likes working on small engines. This one now gives me a 3rd battery which is great to cycle through the batteries and also have an additional charger for doing my lawn and cleanup. The power on this is very good. I use the turbo a lot and it got all the leaves cleaned off my deck, even blew the ones stuck between the cracks. Under my 2nd story deck is a stone patio and it worked great to blow out all the leaves from that lower level into a tarp for me to drag to the street for municipal pick up. When its not fall, this is MORE than adequate for blowing the grass clippings from the driveway and sidewalks. Its excellent and when you push the trigger it just WORKS. No pull start, no stalling, the thing is great.
