Grill Boss Quality

Grill Boss stands 100% behind the quality of every single camp stove. Each stove is tested before leaving the factory to ensure that it is working properly and that there are no underlying issues. The stoves are packaged inside hardshell plastic carrying cases for extra protection during shipping. These cases are also great for storing the stove and all of its accessories!

Multiple Fuel Options for Your Convenience

Why should you be limited to just one fuel type?

Whether you already have an 18oz propane canister, or you are looking at using butane, the Grill Boss 90057 Dual Fuel stove is able to operate using both.

Included in the box is a propane conversion hose. This hose attaches to your propane canister and then to the stove. Lighting the stove is exactly the same whether you are using propane or butane.

The pros and cons of Propane and Butane

  • Affordability - When it comes to affordability, butane is generally the cheapest option.
  • Energy Efficiency - Butane burns 12% more efficiently than propane in above freezing temperatures. This makes it the best option for camping trips!
  • Usability - In freezing temperatures, Propane is your best bet! Butane will remain in its liquid state and therefore will be unable to produce a flame
  • Availability - Propane is more widely available than butane, however, most consumers switch between butane in the summer and propane in the winter.

The Most Dependable Camping Buddy

The Grill Boss 90057 Dual Fuel camp stove is an absolute must for any camping trip. This camp cooker can be used with both 18oz propane canisters and also standard 8oz butane canisters! This makes it absolutely ideal for camping in both warmer and colder climates.

It is well known that in below-freezing temperatures, butane will turn back into a liquid, and therefore it will not produce a flame. With propane, it continues to work perfectly in colder temperatures! Most camping enthusiasts will use butane during the summer when the weather is hotter and then propane during the colder winters.

I've enjoyed using this stove on my tailgate when out in the field. It's easy to set up and light and provides quick heat even if it's a bit breezy. The construction is a bit lighter than I would have liked and mine was slightly damaged on arrival (fuel door is tweaked and doesn't close just right) but at the price, I decided to hold on to it. I'm glad I did and would buy another if needed.

I got this when I needed a burner that wouldn't stay on for several days, when I was unable to turn off the gas. It works very well and outputs both higher heat than many cheaper gas stoves and simmers better than them. As with all portable gas stoves, you need to be careful not to use them with a pot or pan that's wider than the supports above the burner, since a hot container above the fuel could cause an explosion. I'll probably buy a second, one of these days, to be honest

I've used the stove for some time now. It stopped working for a while and I contacted support. They helped me through the issue and we managed to solve it. Just be careful not to allow any grease or residues go into the gas line since it might get clogged.Besides that, it has worked fine and helped me with some great food.

I bought this for my trip to Quartzsite this year camping out. I absolutely love this item. Propane and Butane which is absolutely a positive. It's so easy to use, light, totally efficient. I would give it a ten if that were possible. Highly recommend. I love it...

I was watching a YouTube Chinese food cooking lession. The lady had bought a butane hob in an Asian store for a fraction of what I paid for mine.I wanted one with a case and good flame control so I bought this. There are lots of less expensive ones around.I struggled at first trying to figure out how to insert the fuel canister. The lever in front must be up, then flip the lever down to lock it into place.I see complaints about these dual fuel hobs not being hot enough on propane. That is the fuel, not a design issue with the stove.I see complaints of the the metal things that the pot rests on actually melting because of the high heat. That is an issue with the operator, not the stove. Butane is hot. Don't leave it on full blastA regular home stove just doesn't get hot enough for a proper stir fry. Chinese restaurants use commercial stoves that get much hotter.I use a big skillet and a wok. There is no room left on my regular 30 inch stove for another pan. Of course all of these are rated for use outside because they don't have proper ventilation. It comes with a hose and regulator for propane. These little butane canisters are a bit expensive. If I go camping where I'm cooking on the stove for a week, I would want to use propane. For one or two meals I don't have to carry heavier propane bottles.I was expecting the case to be made out of flimsy chinesium. It is. I don't expect it to last one camping trip.I'm happy after cooking one dish. It heats really fast, and the flame adjustment is satisfactory.

Saw this stove recommended by America’s Test Kitchen. Got it mainly for solo camping trips and emergencies/power outages. The stove performs very well. I used an adapter hose to connect a larger 5 lb propane tank and it worked great on a camping trip. I really like the idea of dual fuel. Most of my gear runs on propane, but the convenience of butane for picnics and small excursions is a great option. Also, propane allows operation in sub-freezing temperatures (butane will not work below freezing). Gets super hot but also simmers well. Solid.

This is an excellent choice for camping, outdoor cooking, and even emergency preparedness. The ability to use both butane and propane is a fantastic feature that offers flexibility depending on availability and personal preference. The flame control is precise, making it easy to adjust for everything from simmering to high-heat cooking. It heats evenly and performs reliably, even in breezy conditions. The compact design and lightweight construction make it easy to carry and store, while the included carrying case adds to its portability. Setup is straightforward, and switching between fuel types is simple and intuitive. I’ve used it for multiple camping trips, and it’s held up well with consistent performance.I’m giving it 4 stars because the build quality, while decent, could be sturdier. The knobs and fuel connectors feel a bit fragile, and I worry about their durability with frequent use. Additionally, the butane canisters can be tricky to secure on the first try. Despite these minor issues, it’s a solid, versatile stove that’s great for outdoor enthusiasts and anyone looking for a reliable backup cooking solution. Overall, a great value for the price!

This is almost 3 times a price of a butane only unit, but it works absolutely fantastic. I used it all summer last year and it dials down to next to nothing and it goes up to full heat. I have no qualms about this whatsoever. It’s a great unit well worth what I spent for it.Who cares about the case? Yeah, that is the biggest joke. I’ve never seen anything that pathetic but I found a suitable container for it so whatever.
