I bought this for my 4 year old daughter to try to give her a head start before she begins school this year. I was really iffy about this product and wondered if it would really work but I assure you, IT DOES!This set includes a pencil case with little silicon stickers to decorate, 2 pens, 2 pencil grips, a ton of refills for the pens, and 4 different traceable books. The books are a bit small but that makes them perfect for travel. I love that they utilized all the space in the books by using both pages with a lot of different activities. I have included time lapsed pictures of a test page so you can see how well this really works over time. This really is a great little set for pre-school kids. I love everything about it. I would absolutely buy again or even give as a gift.

I'll admit I'm a bit surprised by the fact that it's reusable. I didn't believe the ink would actually disappear from the book. This is great because it extends the usable life of the books you're teaching with. Although, I'd say about 95% of the ink disappears and some blotches stay on randomly.With that said, it's worth noting that the ink bleeds horribly. You'll get it on everywhere because their pages stay wet and the ink dries slowly. That's why I removed a star.Overall, I think this is a great idea. I'd be a bit cautious on the age range because some items feel like a 3yr old could do it easily and others jump up rapidly to a 5 or 6yr old. Some activities are also kind of boring or random. I liked it though.

These are exactly what I've been looking for to help my son work on learning his letters. The grooves are easy to follow and the ink that dries invisible is super cool. I love that you get a storage case for the pens and extra ink. This was really a well thought out package and I appreciate that there is plenty of ink because my kids will not stop using this.
