Had this for only two months and the double wall insulation must be cracked. Pot gets very hot on outside and looses heat quickly. Otherwise works great, but wish the insulation worked too.

Instead of paying $7 for a Starbucks, I can have Coffee for the entire week for $10.00 with this one. The filters at the end of that stick seem to get unscrewed once in a while. Not sure if it’s just for me.

The pot itself lives up to its description. I filled it with hot water as part of the initial cleaning process and the insulation kept the temperature up for the 30 minutes I waited. That’s long enough for me; I drink my morning coffee pretty quickly. Fill volume of 1L is comfortably accommodated with room for coffee below and the filter mechanism above. It’s a good looking appliance that appears well made and durable. No complaints on the item itself.However, I looked over quite a number of listings trying to find an insulated steel French press not made in China. Somehow I got the impression that this item was made in Canada, although looking through the listing today (31-Oct-2024), I don’t see any country of origin listed. Be aware, this item is Made in China as printed on the packaging. I also did find two other Q&A answers from 2018 and 2020 that confirm the China manufacture. My own fault for not looking harder, but perhaps Amazon could make country of origin easier to find and search on. Naïve I know, but one can always hope for change.

Had a Paderno coffee carafe. Plastic handle broke, no replacements available. Got this instead, better quality and with metal handle for a few dollars more. Buy this one instead of the Paderno version.

Keeps beverages hot or cold for 2 hours. DISHWASHER SAFE!!! HIGHLY recommend!

This is a beautiful coffee pot-a heavy stainless steel, that keeps the coffee really hot for at least 1.5 hours. It cleans up easily and I haven't seen a single coffee grind in my coffee. It has only a single filter, but it does the job quite well. It is a purchase that I do not regret!! I have only had it a short while, so I hope it will hold up--the pot is good for a lifetime--the plunger I won't know until I have used it a year or more. Nice product. I wish they made the stainless milk jug too for frothing.

The is a great coffee press. Keeps the coffee warm for quite a while.Perfect to take along camping or traveling since there's no glass to break.I've bought several Grosche coffee makes and like them all.

This replaces the second glass French press after it broke. It doesn't keep that last little sip hot, but I never expected it too - for the most part, it makes the perfect amount of coffee for me and my wife which is hot and fresh!Of course the real reason for trying this one is the unbreakable steel. It makes the same great coffee but without the fragility and needing to treat it with the utmost care to keep it from breaking.

I have only used coffee presses for the last 30 years and don’t even own a drip electric coffeemaker. I have probably been through a dozen glass beakers, even though I try to be so careful. I finally decided to go to an unbreakable press and am so glad I bought this one. Not only is it beautiful, but it is unbreakable and it keeps my coffee nice and hot, since it is double-walled. I am totally sold on this press!

I like that it's sturdy and double walled to retain heat. I had two glass ones, and I always worried about breaking them when I washed them. The only issue I have is that it doesn't quite filter medium grounds fully, occasionally there are some grounds that pour into coffee. Another commenter mentioned that there is nothing to indicate on the lid where the pour is, so I will probably mark it as he had - by etching an arrow or something. Very pleased with purchase.
