This product appears to be well made and works exactly as I expected. The clips on the end swivel. Some reviews complain that the ring in the middle doesn't swivel, but every lead I own has a clip that swivels so it doesn't seem to make a difference. It took several walks for my dogs to get the hang of being attached to each other. Even several weeks later, it seems like the dogs take turns leading each other around. They don't seem to mind though, and it is much easier to use than two separate leads.Highly recommend.

Listing is broken. Ordered a small, but was sent a large. We were concerned when ordering because the description was for a large even though "small" was selected. Had to go with another brand to get our size.

I bought both the 24 inch and 12 inch coupler as I was uncertain which size would work best for my two Springer Spaniels. After reading the reviews, I was actually thinking the 24 inch would be too long and I'd end up giving it away to a friend with larger dogs. However, upon trying them both out, I am happy to keep both and I actually prefer the 24 inch version.Yes, this 24 inch coupler does allow my two dogs to walk further apart from each other than some individuals may like, but I have a 5 month old and a 3 year old dog so it allows them a bit of their "own space" while still providing me with the convenience of one leash. The shorter 12 inch version also works well but I only plan to use it when taking my dogs into higher traffic'd areas where the dogs having less freedom/space to wander about would be more safe. The product itself is your standard nylon (leash material) and it seems very sturdy and well made. I would recommend this to others.

I purchased a different coupler before this one, and I must say this one is a much better design. I like how the two leashes are permanent to the o-ring. The other coupler I purchased had an adjustable clip, and the clip would always slip making one side longer than the other so one dog had 3 feet and the other only a few inches. This works great for two very different size dogs. I use it for my 50# Chow Chow and my 25# Dachshund, and I attach it to a retractable leash. It worked great- no tangles and the leash held them both no problem. It seems to be well made. Great purchase- very happy.

Anyone with two dogs knows walking them both at once is a huge pain! It got to the point where I was avoiding walks because it was such a hassle. I finally purchased this coupler and I'm so glad I did! I have two shih tzus who are 10 and 12 pounds. Our 10 pound dog is much more muscular and strong than our 12 pound dog.Pros1 - The length of this coupler is perfect for us.2 - It is well made and works just as it should.3 - Works great with my retractable leash. Makes our walks enjoyable again!Cons1 - The hardware is super heavy in comparison to the hardware on leashes of similar widths I've purchased. (Might not be a con for everyone)2 - I do wish this was adjustable. I would like for one dog to be able to get away from the other. (Our one just won't leave the other alone!)Other Comments1 - Like with anything new, the two dogs and I needed an adjustment period learning to take walks with this. They are still learning to walk together side by side. Sometimes the stronger one pulls the weaker, but over time it is happening less and less. I imagine in a few months this won't be an issue.2 - The O ring doesn't swivel-- you want to make sure the clip on your leash does. Usually the hardware on the actual leashes swivel though so it shouldn't be a problem.3 - Even with the cons listed, this is still an excellent purchase. Of all the couplers I've seen I would purchase this one again. It's well made and it will last us a long time!

Works as promised. Very heavy duty. Doesn't appear to be heavy duty. The straps are not the size of car safety belts and the buckles are not the size of vehicle toe clips, but this is a VERY heavy duty item that will last and will hold any breed dog. Strong enough for bigger breeds and small enough for the little ones. Clip one leash and able to control (or try to control) two dogs at once. I have two shepherds, so I try. Mostly they just trot along together and it is long enough to give each dog their distance. Great product.

I have small dogs and its a bit heavy for them. Once you hook the least and its hooks to it as well you have to hold it up off the ground or it will drag. Works fine and would be good for big dogs.

My dogs are a 45-lb boxer mix and a 35-lb mystery mix. They're both medium-sized, with the heavier one being 3-4" taller. The coupler arrived unexpectedly fast; a day before the delivery estimate in fact! So we gave it a test run. I wasn't sure if the 24" length on each side would be too long, but it was great...the longer length allows you to keep the leashes above the dogs' heads which prevents tangling. No stopping to lift up front legs because of leashes caught underneath. And not once did I do a spin to get unwrapped from a leash around my waist or a high step over one around my leg! The dogs were far enough apart so that one couldn't yank the other around, which is something I encountered years ago when I tried out a much shorter coupler. I also felt more in control; my dogs walk pretty well on leash but every so often a dog or squirrel will grab their attention and they will forget their manners and pull. That didn't happen today, but I can tell that correcting them will be a lot easier with the coupler and a single leash rather than trying to correct two excited dogs on two separate leashes. As I was researching couplers, I noticed others saying they could be too heavy for smaller dogs. I don't think that would be the case with this one because it's very light. It's definitely worth a shot if you're on the fence, and I recommend going for a longer length instead of shorter if you're unsure about what size to get. It's awesome to get a well-made, useful product for under 8 bucks, with super fast free shipping besides. Five stars!
