This unit has been working great and a great addition to the boat. So much better than pulling the batteries in / out. Fairly easy install.

I had a similar unit in a boat years ago. This makes outing preparations so much easier. And the chargers are better than the ones I used before.

Have this running on my Searay Sundancer 260 dual batteries and keeps both batteries at full without issue. I very much like this product and will recommend it to anyone with dual battery setup.

Yeah, I went the cheap route. Cooked 2 batteries. Bought this and fantastic. Works great and this one is the second one on a 97 fishing boat. Well worth it.

No more worrying the batteries in my center console boat will be depleted after sitting for a while. Worth the $$

First and foremost, for onboard installations on boats, I'd recommend also purchasing an Inlet Port Charger plug (if your boat doesn't already have one). These inlet ports sit recessed within the fiberglass exterior of the boat, making the installation clean and especially convenient (this does involve drilling a 1.5-2 inch hole for the inlet port). Just run a 3-prong female extension cord directly to the boat and off you go with charging. On my particular boat, I have 2 batteries...one 12V "house" battery for the engine starter and house electronics, and another 12V deep cycle for a trolling motor. The dual bank 4/4 Amp Guest ChargePro was a perfect match for my setup as it charges and maintains both batteries simultaneously. Since the house battery charges when the engine is running, that battery generally stays "topped off" and doesn't typically require much charge time...though the ChargePro does maintain it with a trickle charge between outings. The deep cycle battery gets used more extensively with the trolling motor, and the ChargePro will typically complete a charge cycle overnight on the deep cycle batt. Another great upside to an onboard charger is that it can maintain the batteries long term, over the Winter, to keep the batteries in their optimum state. The battery connectors all have fuses, the unit itself protects from reversed polarity and overcharging. The charger unit seems to be well-built and mostly made of metal. Overall a great option especially if you have more than one 12V battery, highly recommend for marine battery charging.

I wanted a charger for the boat without having to spend a ton of money. Well, this one is awesome! The quality is excellent and does a great job of making sure I am ready to go out on the boat anytime. When I first connected it, it told me that my battery was bad (which I thought it was) right away. Replaced both batteries and connected everything up and all is good!

I have a 12/24 Motorguide trolling motor on my boat and this charger is the perfect solution for charging/conditioning/maintaining the batteries. The 4 amp charging rate is fairly slow, but that's fine for me and better for the batteries. There are other chargers with higher amp rates if needed.Highly recommended!
