Thank you so much! Very simple installation and fixed my problems right away, was a little worried I might’ve did something wrong but plugged it in and both cymbals worked right away! 5 stars

The components are very cheap and fragile material, be careful when installing. I checked the wires sturdiness before installing and it just ripped off with very little effort. Good thing it comes with 2, I used the second set and added tape hopefully it holds. It’s also a tight fit, difficult to insert and remove. Other than poor quality, it works.

Better-than-original quality; easy to install. Works like a charm. As a side note, the original cables (cymbal and kick pedal) were crap, and literally disintegrated. Glad I found these.

Like many people, the orange cymbal on my Guitar Hero drum set suddenly stopped working. It is a common problem, and you can read about all the woes on the internet. Most of the proposed solutions fall into one of two camps. 1) Buy a new drum set. 2) Get out your soldering gun and prepare to do some home electrical repair.I didn't like either of these options, as I have neither the money for a new drum set nor a soldering gun (nor electrical repair skills). But I took a gamble on this replacement wire, figuring it was cheap enough to give it a try. And if it fixed the problem, all the better.Swapping out the cord was not as easy as I thought. This isn't a "plug-and-play" official replacement part. It involves taking apart the entire drum set, and mucking about with the circuit boards a bit, and a fair spread of time. There are no directions, but it is easy enough to follow where the new cord is supposed to go, but you have to be careful. I bent the wires the first time I tried to attach it, and I was afraid that I had accidently destroyed the whole thing.Even lacking skills, I managed to get the new cord attached, and the drum set back together. And what do you know? The orange cymbal works again! I was shocked, but happy.A neither quick nor easy solution. But cheaper than buying a new drum set!

This was a total waste of money. The new wires were installed for my broken cymbals on the drum kit, and they did not work at all! I am pretty angry. I ended up going out to Gamestop and buying a whole new drum kit for $50. Don't waste your money on these "replacement wires". And yes, they were put in correctly more than once. Total BS

this piece is a must have if you own the guitar hero wt drums. don't bother calling the manufacturer because they don't have replacement parts like this one, they just tell you that you have to buy a new drum set. well they're wrong!! a broken cymbal cable is pretty common, specially if you have young children who don't know that turning the cymbal 360 will break it. i actually tried to repair it myself based on stuff i saw online.. i failed miserably, i have! no electrical experience and no proper tools so im surprised i even tried.. but this little cable is pre-made! it saves you time, and headaches. it's awesome and 5 dollars per fix is probably cheaper than if you had to buy the tools and the material to fix it yourself. definitely a must have.

While searching for a replacment kit for my 4 boys, I came across this product instead. Our 3 year old thought it would be fun to tear the wires out of the cymbals and even though I was able to reapir one of them by splicing a new plug on, it never worked as well. Thought I'd give the repair kit a try and I am glad I did. It takes a little long to unscrew all the screws and remove and replace the wires, about 1.5 hours, and even though there are no directions, it is easy to figure out. Just be carefull when removing the wire plug from the unit not to put to much pressure on the mother board. Worked like a charm. the kids are back drumming like Tommy Lee and I have electrical taped the wires down with minimal slack so he does not tear them out again. Give this a try before you spend over a $100 on a new drum kit.

Our cymbal cable was accidentally broken when a guest accidentally turned the cymbal too far and the cord ripped. We called the manufacturer and they were extremely UN-helful. They said there was nothing they could do to fix the cymbal and told us we'd have to buy a whole new drum set! Seriously, whoever we spoke to either didn't know what they were talking about, or was just trying to make another sale.We looked on Amazon and found the replacement cable within a couple minutes. It arrived very quickly and was a snap to install! It works perfectly and solved our problem for a fraction of the price a whole new drum set would have cost us! I highly recommend this if you've run into the same problem as we did.
