Great product. Keeps food fresh with a water tight seal. Rugged bowl and I can water my dog in the lid bowl.

I got this bowl for an upcoming trip for my Pup. I am sending him to my Parents house but want him to have his own bowls there. This one came quickly and I am very happy with the quality and function. My Dog has a long ride to get to my Parents house and this water bowl will be great. The lid seals tightly and even when it is completely full of water it does not spill. I was able to fill it and give to my Parents for the trip and it stayed dry until they opened it for him to drink. It is small and compact but performs well. I gave this 5 Stars. It is weighted on the bottom to make it more stable even in the crate. If you are looking for a true spill proof set of bowls then give this one a try. It made it all the way across the State in the back of the car bumping and rolling around and not one drop spilled. I was amazed. No problems here!

First they make AMAZING water bowls. I only have to refill it about twice a day vs for 4-5. My 65# dog would drink a full bowl each time with the old one but this one takes her about 2-3 water stops before I need to fill again. Also airtight with a much easier lid to remove over the other lid covers. Seal never broke even when dropped. No scratches from the dogs pawing either.Great for two day trips if you have a medium-giant dog. For anything longer using it in tandem with the food crate is best! My dog eats 3c a day so it only holds enough space for two days worth of food. It does take up a good amount of space since it’s large and not collapsible. Same goes for water. If I were to travel with this bowl it would stay in the food crate.Gunner will definitely have to come out with a smaller size for the little guys. Unfortunately, my 15lb dog was not a fan when it came to eating out of it. He would only pick up 1 kib and take his whole face out to eat so I had to swap to the smaller bowl in which he took bigger bites and didn’t move away to eat. He does fine drinking from it though. Its fills a nice slot for its intended use. Perfect day bowl for training out in the field. What ever you don’t use just throw on the lid and it will keep. I had half eaten wet food stay moist till next feeding, while on a weekend trip!Pros:Sealed TIGHT!Protection from flys and bugsGood for weekend tripsTough in the elementsBest non slip footing Cons:Too big for (my) small dogsTakes up spaceNot good for longer travel storage without Food and water container to pull from.None of the cons make me feel like this deserves less than five ⭐️!

I recently adopted a little black German Shepherd Dog puppy. She's a peach, and like any new (or new again) pet owner I realized that I didn't have nearly enough gear for her. A good travel bowl is incredibly handy, especially if you travel (my dog rides a few hours with me every so often), so I keep an eye out for new ideas. I have a splash-proof travel bowl that I use currently, but I was interested in whether a different bowl would be better for that or at least to have a bowl for food. When I saw this one I had to try it.The first thing you notice is this bowl is solid. It feels like multiple layers of fiberglass, though I'm not really sure what it's made of. However, I could imagine that dropping this filled with water would barely make a dent, if any. I love well-made things. The lid is very thick rubber (or something close to rubber), and while it doesn't snap in tightly it still has a lot of surface area against the bowl to help prevent leaks. This bowl is a great size. It'll easily hold a full meal for my puppy, and between this and the splash-proof water bowl (which I prefer for water as it's always open and accessible while I drive) I have what I need to spend hours running errands with my dog.I did test it with water and found the lid holds well. No leaks that I noticed.Overall I'm pretty happy with this bowl. It's built tough without being metal, the lid holds solidly, and it's a great size for what I need.I recommend!

I'd heard of Gunner crates but did not realize they made other accessories. This is a heavy- duty bowl with strong grips on the bottom. The whole punch to seal is an interesting concept. You want to test to make sure you punched the lid down hard enough to waterproof it if you are storing liquids. I made the mistake of thinking I sealed it, turned it upside down to find it leaking. Simple human error. This sturdy bowl should last a lifetime.

I love that this bowl has a lid that fits tightly. We have it on our back deck and the lid keeps critters out of it when we’re not outside. Both the lid and bowl are made very well. A great buy!

This is a large water bowl or food bowl. One thing I thought of is the lid could be used as a flat food dish while camping or traveling. It seals well so if you wanted to keep water in the bowl while traveling you could. It’s very sturdy and my first thought was that it’s a lifetime bowl. Plus I love the color!

I have silicone bowls that are dishwasher safe that I typically use to carry my dogs’ water in. However, I have one dog that does not like drinking from those bowls so I was happy when I found this one. This bowl is made of hard plastic with a silicone lid that goes into the bowl as opposed to sitting on the outer rim of the bowl. It is very large and dishwasher safe, which is great as I don‘t have the time or energy to hand wash dog bowls several times a week. The lid is easy to put on as you simply push down in the middle of the lid giving you a leak proof seal. The key to ensuring you have a tight, leak proof seal is to make sure you leave a couple of inches between the top of the water and the lid.
