So handy!! The only thing that is awkward is the area where it fastens and tightened the fabric. Floss gets caught a lot on the screw and the wing nut

I hadn't done any embroidery in a couple years and couldn't find my double embroidery hoop. The one that I had cost a bit more than I wanted to pay. This one was quite a bit cheaper, but I hesitated to buy it because one of the reviews said it wasn't very sturdy and could fall apart if leaned on too heavily. This hoop is plenty sturdy and just as good as my more expensive double hoop. It holds the fabric tightly and is easy to use

I had no idea that this stand would make such a huge difference in my love of embroidery! The frame is now so easy to work on. I actually separate the 2 hoops and put 2 legs on each; this means I can gently hold on to hoop with a relaxed hand holding a leg. I also use it as intended with a canvas on each hoop, it's so light I can hold it rather than put it in my lap. But this frame, you'll love it!

It works, but could be sturdier. You have to make sure you don't use too much pressure or this will fall apart or potentially break.
