This hoop holds a lot of tension which I was worried about; however, whatever coating they put on these hoops rubs onto lighter fabrics and will stain it.

I’ve tried hoops like this before and my fabric slid a lot. These hold the tension so well! They’re beautiful, and I love that you can remove the top piece. I don’t have to worry about my thread catching on it while working.

Using these for an embroidery project and planning on hanging them on my wall because I love the faux wood design. I only wish the hanger was more center, it's not terrible off but it's enough to bother a perfectionist like me.

They are not fantastic. Hard to get over Aida cloth. Just okay. Wish they were in black.

I’ve actually purchased these twice now because the size is exactly right for some of my projects.But honestly, these hoops are difficult to use. The pliable ring is difficult to secure. And far too often the decorative hanger at the top is off center which means it cannot be used for hanging.The difficulty that this presents is that then an alternative method for display must be devised and this is not easy.I probably will not purchase these again.

These hoop were the second set I ordered. They are from a different company. I liked these hoops better than the first set because when I put my finished design in the hoop it seemed to hold the material I was using tighter which made the finished product look nicer.
