I put this in the bridge of a Tokai Silverstar SS36 strat. I have a 250k volume pot with treble bleed, a 500k no load tone pot for the bridge pickup, and the neck pickup is hooked into a 250k no load tone.It sounds exactly like I wanted. I got the one that is wound for 9k. I wanted a PAF sort of sound for the bridge. The single coil that was in there was very bright and not very powerful. This does the PAF thing for me, and I honestly can not image a pickup costing $150 sounding better. Bang for buck, this worked for me. It mixes well with the middle pickup as well. Would 100% buy again.Last note, it does fit a single coil spot as you can see in the picture but you have to tilt in one side at a time but it will go in without modification to the pickguard.
