I have 2, one for use with municipal water/sewer samples and another for septic samples and treatment. This works great for both fields and is very accurate compared to anything else I've used. Would definitely buy again if it when it's needed

Hach makes pretty reliable products and the pocket Pro is no exception to that. It is easy to use and pretty hardy, we use them at work and they hold up well. This model does not have the replaceable tip, but they make one if needed. I use this meter at home as well for pool pH checks that are quick and easy. It only comes with a single buffer of 7, so you may want to get a 4 and 10 buffer, to allow a 3 point calibration.

Works very well, I do recommend calibrating the unit soon as you get it and it will be correct

I purchased three of these pH meters; two are broken and one is on the fritz. The battery compartment uses a plastic cover with small plastic pegs to keep contact with the batteries. These cheap plastic pegs break extremely easily and will render the pH meter useless. The third one that still sort of works was reading regular drinking water at around pH 4, despite calibration and changing settings, but worked -perfectly fine the next day. It worked fine when it was functional, but it is not durable and I don't recommend it for field work since they are also apparently really sensitive to environmental factors (sunlight, electromagnetic fields, etc.) I called Hach to ask for a replacement, and they were very nice but would not replace it since it was not a manufacturer's defect.
