Well built and fit for the purpose, this little drill bit did the trick getting my very clogged tip clean. It’s the right size to fit in one of the slots in the hakko 301 case too!

Cleared out a stubborn clog without much effort. Sure, it took a while to drill through the clog, but it worked fine eventually.

I had a new FR-301 with the standard 1mm tip. Unfortunately I did not realize I should be using the cleaning pin to clear it every few holes. It clogged up pretty bad on me and I thought I might have ruined the tip since the cleaning pin about broke when I tried to ram it through. I thought I'd give this drill a try and I'm so glad I did. It very easily cleared out the burned up gunk from the hole, and now my FR-301 is back in operation. The drill bit is very small, so be extremely careful when using. I recommend taking the cooled off tip out of the gun and holding it firmly with one hand while using the other to spin the drill a couple times, then backing it out and tapping the tip to shake the debris out. Repeat if needed.

この商品のおかげで吸い込み口で固着したはんだくずが取れました。ドリルの長さが最初短いのでラジオペンチで挟んで数回回転させて緩くなったらドリルを伸ばします。1.0cmぐらい伸ばして使いました。外側と内側の両方からドリルを回転して使います。

I was getting very frustrated trying to clear out a clog in my and finally decided to order this drill. It took only a couple seconds to drill through the clog and solve the issue. It was actually impressive for such a simple thing. The build quality is excellent and the handle is solid metal so it has a little heft.
