I have the 7000 lumen model. The light is a very bright white light not yellow tinted. It will easily illuminate a 30 foot radius from where it's hung to almost a daylight like brightness. It has been hung about 6 weeks now and works flawlessly. It is well built and its light weight makes it easy to install. Pay the extra money and get the high lumen models. It will pay for itself versus metal halide or high pressure sodium bulb style lights. The bulbs for those lights cost 20 dollars and need replaced about every 2 years so this is a no brainer.

Looks good, easy install, and good price.Installed 3 of these along the 40 foot wall of my shop at 12 foot height. Lights up the doors and frontage very well.

Illuminates my backyard well. Helps immensely with theft deterrence. The low profile almost makes you want to ask, where's that light coming from. A better mounting kit would have made istallation easier and garnered 5 stars. I'm satisfied.

I ordered the HALO ALB Outdoor Dusk-to-Dawn LED Security Area Light to replace an old 175 watt mercury vapor light on my barn. This light installed on the same pole and works as it should. The light is a whiter color light, but I don't think it is as bright as my old light. Hopefully the LED light will be cheaper to operator and will last a long time. Time will tell, but for now, it's working fine.

La lámpara funciona bien. La intensidad de luz es buena para un lugar amplio/medio. El sensor funciona bien. Es fácil de instalar y el material parece de buena calidad. El envío tardo un poco, pero se entiende ya que lo envían desde EU.

My very old Mercury Lamp quit working after many years, I replaced it with the Halo Dawn to Dusk LED Lamp. Installation was fairly easy, I was able to adapt it to the existing extension arm from the old mercury lamp, although some duct tape was needed, and some clamps. It works very well, from dusk until dawn. Probably saves me some money on electricity - compared to the old mercury lamp. The new LED lamp is less powerful than the old mercury lamp, but, it is good enough to light the back alley near the garage. It has been up and running for a couple of months, no problems.Great price point, recommend.

I got tired of replacing expensive halide bulbs on my noisy humming ballast brinks dusk to dawn and tried this Halo. This wasn’t a random purchase I did my homework first and settled on Halo after learning they are what is sold at Menard’s. Also quite a few Halo reviews on YouTube but Halo isn’t in the title, I had to ask in the comments section. I was going to buy the 4000 lumens unit and then saw the 2000 was an option. The 2000 throws a lot of light mounted at 10 ft 6 inches. The mounting plate pattern is the exact same as my now defunct brinks halide so install was a snap. Also of note the mounting screws and twist connectors were hidden in the mounting area accessed by 2 screws. The halo is very light weight. Another item of note, my old brinks faced south and the directions had said to face north for optimum dusk to dawn triggering.my application faces south, so the brinks was always early to come on and late to turn off. This model of Halo has a front mounted photo cell and the install directions made no mention of what direction to point it in. I had high hopes the direction wouldn’t matter and I was right !! It now turns on truly at dusk and off shortly after sunrise. It is mounted on edge of roofline facing south, see the photo attached. So far so good, it has been operating 35 days straight, no issues, no hum. It did take about 48 hours to learn the sunset cycle, keep that in mind. At it’s mounted height of 10 ft 6 inches it throws usable light 20 feet in each direction, and it’s not crazy bright like a 4000 would have been that would have been too bright for our neighbors. It does seem brighter than the brinks that had been there. I hope you try one and it works out well for you too.
