Your cart is empty. These whoopie slings are made from 7/64" Silver Amsteel, which consists of braided Dyneema. The material is extremely durable and has a strength rating comparable to that of steel - but weighs a fraction of what steel does and even floats! These have been field-tested by countless backpackers/campers looking to lighten their packs and increase the versatility of their camping hammock. They are easy to install on a variety of commercially-produced hammocks and nearly all D.I.Y. backpacking hammocks. By popular demand, all new Silver Whoopie slings feature a safety bead on the adjustable loop of the sling to prevent an accidental backsplice. The price has not changed!

These are a "must have" for any hammock! Setup is even faster now that these are installed.

If you hang, in a gathered end, sewn tunnel hammock, these are for you. Lightweight and adjustable. My entire, four season, sleeping system now weighs in at just under 9 pounds. Stronger than steel and they float.

Really cool stuff. I mean, it's not wizardry or anything, but it will hang your hammock and let you adjust it any which way you like. The whole sling packs smaller and lighter than my carebiner alone! The cord is very thin, so you'd want a wide nylon strap to hang from a tree.A simple strap of webbing, a stick from the ground, a marlin spike hitch, and these Whoppie Slings and you're all set! Quite a bit of adjustment range without so much as having to untie anything.

Hard to believe the strength claim, but seems to be holding up fine so far and the adjustability is very cool. For the cost/size, I can't imagine beating this for a quick hanging solution to cover the gap between the hammock and straps/hooks/etc.

Awesome! Seriously no reason to even bother with a hammock if you're not going to upgrade to these. Night and day!
