I have already given this item a review for overall construction, fit, and ease of use. It's a winner for me BUT the soft under lining freezes to the car. Not good. It almost makes this item "an occasional use" item. I'm my area we go from snow to rain to ice to snow almost daily. This is no good to use once u have removed it. It's great at 3am when i leave for work, but when I get home and it has snowed or rained, I can't put it back on the car for the next 3am shift. Very disappointing. I am taking great care to peel it off, and I am trying to find solutions to the problem. Other than that, this is great!

There was no clue as to how to attach hooks to straps, I am trying a half hitch because that slides. I have a Subaru half track the sheet covers the front but only about half of the back window. I had asked for something that would fit a Subaru half track and that's what Amazon showed me. I had a bit of effort to get the sheet on needing to figure out where the front and the back were and then to untangle it from how it was folded because I was the only one doing it. I haven't really used it yet but I'm hoping it will help me when the frost and ice start covering windshields. I have been using the cover and if I Keep it in a basket it is light and easy enough to put on and take off.

I used this cover on my RAV4 at Burning Man. It fit well, but the straps and hooks were flimsy, so I bought carabiners and plastic buckles elsewhere and attached them to the straps as shown in the 3rd photo. It worked great for 7 days but the 8th day was windy and one of the straps completely broke off. I suggest the manufacturer use stronger straps and find a better way to attach them to the cover.

Finally got a snow storm and the first chance to write a review. The day before the storm was very windy, hence making it difficult for me to put the cover on car. I'm sure two people would have found it easy. I have a Prius, so the sedan fit wasn't perfect, but quite good. The attachment straps are very easy to use and probably one of my favorite things. The cover stayed on throughout a foot of snow and high winds. Every time I brushed the snow off it came off easily. Once the storm was over I removed the cover without a hitch - no wind. I brought it inside and what drops of snow were on it dried up quickly. Easy to fold and store for the next storm. I do recommend this for people without a garage.

I bought this SUV cover not knowing it would fit but once placed on my VW ID4 electric SUV, I discovered it is just the right size with no baggy excessive material anywhere. If I could criticize it for anything, I wish it could have been about 3" longer in the front to make sure snow doesn't go down into the windshield wiper slots. It covers the slots pretty well but leaves a slight gap. The stretchy cords work well now but I suspect they might not retain their elasticity for long. It won't be too hard to replace them by gluing more durable replacement straps to the inside of the cover at the same locations. Also note to ID4 owners... there is enough elasticity and material to allow the charge port door to be opened with the charge plug in, AND it beautifully covers he door and the port to keep all snow and ice out of the charge port and surrounding cavity... this was a real bonus so I don't need an additional charge port cover. Considering this was $40 CAD including tax, this cover is a real bargain. It was extremely windy last night and with all the attachment bungies in place, the cover stayed perfectly in place. The side view mirror pockets are also well sized and placed. These also serve as reference for orientation since they are at the front and they are the first thing to position onto the mirrors to properly position it and keep it in place in windy conditions until you batten down the bungies. I am very happy with this car cover, that is light and compact but the material seems tough enough to withstand the elements and has a cottony flock on the underside to ensure the paint is not harmed. No regrets.

The little plastic tabs broke immediately. The entire material left little fuzz balls from the "soft" underside. Then, in one wet snow, the entire thing began to shred. Simply not the right materials for the job.This is the equivalent of a paper plate. Useful for one meal, one rainfall, one snow. Then throw it away. Too bad, looked nice when I initially put it on. Maybe it is good for sunny weather? Oh, but it blew off easily too, because the tabs broke immediately (as mentioned earlier.).Stay away from this one.

I don't have a garage to park car in during winter. This cover saved me from frozen doors during winter rain / freezing. Also, nice that snow slips off easily when removing and storing. One of the clips broke but will figure a way to replace. I might put elastic in some areas for a tighter fit. Am hoping it helps to keep pollen from collecting in nooks & crannies this Spring.

This car cover is not 4 layers. At most 2-a silver layer and a white backing. It is not quilted as shown in the pics and after looking back at the pics more closely today- it appears the pics are photoshopped. You can see quilting and what appears to be blurring of the quilting. So tired of Amazon allowing false advertising. The plastic hooks are not attached. You do that yourself. No instructions. You basically put the binding through and tie a knot to hold it. The bungee cords to attach to the hooks are whatever color of stretchy binding is on sale apparently. In our case, our cords are hot pink so my hubby is not thrilled. You can see in the pics that everyone gets a different color. I do not expect the binding to make it through a winter and I live in SC. Some of the item pics look like bungee which would hold up but that is not what you get. We really only need it for one winter so we will see. We are hoping to not have to scrape windows. If it succeeds in doing that, I may increase the stars. For now, one star for Not As Described in any way.Edit: After review, was provided a full refund with apology. So bumping to 2 stars for CS. Have not been able to test with frost yet but will update once that happens. Description still does not appear to be updated with more accurate info as of 10/31.
