I thought they would only have an opening at the top, but they are made to flap open about 1/4 of the way down from the top. This does not allow my papers to stay in without turning the holder backwards.

These are fine for using as intended, but I ended up never using them. You can put a worksheet in them, then have a child write on the worksheet with a dry erase marker, then wipe it off. This is fine for tracing or for reusing a worksheet. The biggest benefit is that white board marker is so much easier to erase than pencil. The biggest drawback is that whiteboard marker requires more supervision, and is better for working one on one with a child. Why I never used them as intended is that kids tend to leave the caps off of dry erase markers, and little kid workbooks with perforated pages are so cheap. With these, I had to supervise the child and keep an eye on the marker. Even an hour forgotten with the cap off can dry it out. And even a minute with my back turned, and the cap can be lost with no way to put the cap back on the marker. Meanwhile, workbooks are available at the dollar store, and big chunky 100+ page workbooks are available for about eight dollars here on Amazon and at big box stores. The worksheets getting used with a pencil requires less supervision than the whiteboard marker with a cap that's easy to misplace quickly. And keeping a flow of worksheets is cheaper than keeping a flow of whiteboard markers. Now, what I ended up using these for has been as a portfolio of sorts. So, if I have a packet of standard sized printouts that I want to carry in my purse and not scuff up, I can slip it in one of these. Basically, I used it like a folder, but since it's kind of like a big sturdy envelope, it keeps all the corners crisp. Each sleeve has a "half open" design which you can see in product pics. But, the bottom is snug enough that it keeps papers basically neat and tidy when I carry them in a messenger bag. Basically, the flap makes it easy to get papers in and out, and then theI had intended to use these for home use with my kids. I ended up never using them as intended, because of the expense of white board markers and the supervision needed. I have four kids, three of whom are preschool age, so that can give a sense of the maturity level. I think if you are in a classroom setting, that would be totally different and you can envision that. The actual sleeves work fine for being able to have kids do a worksheet and then erase, and the ease of erasing is better than a pencil eraser (although an artist's eraser such as Pentel "High Polymer block eraser" - the white chunky rectangle eraser - can be easier for kids to use). It may also be that if I only had one small child, these would be great, since worksheets tend to require working with the child to keep them motivated. It's just that with crayon or pencil, it's easier to step out for a little bit then come back than it is with marker.I hope that helps to envision whether these would be useful. Essentially, I didn't use them because I have to supervise the white board markers so closely. I found that pencil and just using up pages out of cheapy workbooks was a better fit for loosely supervising my kids. These sleeves definitely are easier to erase whiteboard marker off of than it is to erase a pencil, and so if working one on one with a child and you anticipate them making frequent mistakes, these can be better for that kind of situation because of the erasing. Since worksheets require working fairly closely with the child anyway, maybe most other parents would prefer these sleeves.

Most of these have already cracked. The surface also scratches very easily. I also do not like how they are only closed up to halfway. I would not buy these again.

I like the design. It is so easy to put papers in and out.The plastic seems to be pretty heavy and most dry erase markers work on them. They erase well with a dry eraser. What I didn’t like is most of them have scrapes and you have to wet wash them to get the color out of the scrapes.I bought a different brand first and those were better. But these will do for my purposes.

I really like the quality of these Hand2Mind paper pockets. They're perfect for adding in my dry erase papers and lesson activities for my homeschool. The best part, everything wipes away clean at the end of the day and they're ready to be reused over and over, again. it definitely beats wasting paper, ink, or having to laminate every single thing we use. The pack comes with ten dry erase pockets, two in each color (blue, yellow, red, purple, and orange). The different colors allow me to categorize (color code) various subjects, which is nice. There is a metal ring on the top of each pocket, which allows me to conveniently hang them if need be.The edging is made of cloth all around the seams and appears to have clean stitching (no loose threads or frays). It's important to note that these do have an interesting opening feature. The bottom is sealed/sewn shut, but the two sides are only sealed/sewn shut halfway. This means that the front portion actually flips downward and opens halfway. Most of the pockets that I've previously used have the two sides completely sealed off where the top portion is the only area that's open. There are some pros and cons to the half sealed concept. The downside is that papers can slip out more easily, but I haven't had too much of an issue with this. What I've done to avoid this is simply flip the pocket around where the long (back) side is facing forward, instead. This seems to help with the snafu. The plus to this half-open design is that it make slipping papers in and out of the pockets way easier, so you don't risk bend or wrinkling them. While this design is new for me, I personally have no qualms with it. I actually really like this set of dry erase pockets! They come in handy for our lesson activities, as well as other items for work and homemaking.

Nice quality but I didn’t like the idea is the sleeves being half closed, it first I thought it was a factory defect! They have a ring so you can hang them but with the half sleeve open feature the sheets can easily fall out. Very disappointed, it should be clearly specified in the description. I’m returning them.

I’m loving this item as much as my kids at school. They’re just beginning to write and I placed a sheet of paper inside with their names on one side and numbers on the other side for them to trace. They come in on mornings and are eager to get theirs out with their erasable markers and felt strip to make corrections and wipe it clean once they are finished. So glad I decided to go on and order them. Reuseable, oh wow! what else can I say.
