Amazing buy feels great for my massive hands. Besides the constant delayed shipping worth the wait!

I soaked it in very hot water for 10 minutes. Then I sprayed glass cleaner on the inside of the grip and the gun. I was able to get it on the gun in about 3 minutes. I did not use the plastic shoe horn method. Overall, it's a very nice upgrade.

Very tough to install but a nice fit after. Very sturdy rubber with textured finish.

I have been using these grips for years. It is true that it is a little bit of work to get the grip installed. If you follow the directions accordingly it is a lot easier. I'd use the boiling water method. Also, in place of using Windex if someone is not comfortable with that, a little bit of CLP goes a long way, and it also is a cleaner lubricant and protective so it will not cause damage to the firearm. I recommend these groups to anyone. It feel really good for persons with larger hands or longer fingers. Good solid grip once installed.

Gives that extra grip and added comfort. Great quality for the price!

Following the instructions (yes, it has those) it's not bad to install. Adds finger grooves and a sticky rubbery texture to the grip. However, unless you've got fingers capable of touching grey matter while digging for gold with the ole index, you'll probably find that the palm swell increase from this thing is a bit much. I've got larger than average hands and I had trouble getting full reach. To say this slip on grip is dummy thicc would be a pretty serious understatement. If it came in a version without the swells, it would be perfect. Also, be aware that removal is SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult than install. Unless you use scissors. Then it's pretty easy.

I would define the installation as a 40 minutes of painstaking challenge... That turns out to be really worth it. Due to caliber size, the 57 has some rather awkward grip ergonomics. This upgrade makes the 57 look more serious... But after going back to the range, I can confirm that the new grip also feels more serious making the 57 handle and shoot better. I strongly recommend wearing gloves during the installation not to tear your hands. I did NOT use lubricant as per instructions... When handling or working on such a device, a slippery grip is not something that made sense to me. You should have something like a visegrip and a long but very thin screwdriver handy (to remove the make shift shoe horns when done). Also I don't think I could have pulled it off without help from my wife. So have someone ready to give a helping hand. But as mentioned, a visit to the range and you will appreciate the difference especially for the (cost) ROI.

I have some surgery-related grip problems and was experiencing limp wrist malfunctions. With this grip the weapon feels much better and easier to envelop and I've experienced zero failure to eject errors like I was before. Recoil management seems better from the improved grip (not from shock absorption) and it's easier to stay on target. It is a pain to install but not crazy hard; I used snipped bits of plastic as shoehorns as per the instructions and just slowly rocked the grip all the way up. I cleaned off the grunge from the handle and applied an extremely thin layer of oil with a bore patch before putting it on. There is not slipping or loose feel.If you like your Security 9 but feel like the grip is just a little small this is a great and inexpensive upgrade.
