5 Easy steps to care for your bamboo matcha whisk
Step 1: Wash your bamboo matcha whisk thoroughly right away after each use, because the bamboo matcha whisk can grow mold if they're exposed to moisture for long time.
Step 2: Rinse thoroughly with hot water, making sure that no matcha is left on the bristles. Gentle reminder, don't use soap, And its not dishwasher safe!
Step 3: Place your whisk with the bristles pointing down so as not to trap mister at the handle.
Step 4: Store your whisk up right until its completed dries.
Step 5: Soak your bamboo chasen in warm water before use, because this can soften the bristles which will help you achieve that perfect frothy matcha.

Great quality. Performed as expected and easy to use for a beginner. This allowed me to create great amounts of foam when whisking the matcha. I do suggest researching how to properly store and maintain these though as there are specific ways to do so to prevent mold growth or damage to the product.

I've used this daily for nearly two months now, and the whisk is still intact and in the shape it was in when I first received it. I’d previously only used the ones Davids sells, which would be completely unraveled by now. Very impressed with this purchase.

After sifting the matcha into my small bowl, I add sufficient water for the purpose and wish away with the bamboo chasen. I rinse and let dry and store in its original container to maintain the shape.Works every time. Lasts a few months.

Needed to replace my old whisk that I lost. Not the best quality but does its job for the price. Better than some of the other cheap whisks out there. No more clumps in my matcha!

I didn't know that you are supposed to soak the matcha whisk in hot water. You fill up the bowl with hot water to heat it up before you make your matcha and you can soak the whisk right in the bowl. Then drain the hot water and proceed to make the match with the wet whisk. Not only does this work better but the whisk goes right back into shape once it is wet and if you use a special holder for the whisk called a Chasen stand it will dry looking brand new. I gave this four stars because the lid was off when I got it and it was little bent up but it went right back into shape when I soaked it.

I recently purchased the Handcrafted Golden Bamboo Matcha Whisk with high hopes of elevating my matcha experience, but unfortunately, I've been left thoroughly disappointed.Upon receiving the product, I was immediately taken aback by its quality. The bamboo used in the whisk felt flimsy and cheap, and the golden coating appeared to be uneven and poorly applied. It did not give off the impression of a handcrafted item at all.When I attempted to use the whisk to stir my matcha, it became clear that its performance was equally subpar. The tines felt fragile and delicate, and they bent far too easily during the whisking process. Instead of creating a smooth and frothy matcha, the whisk struggled to mix the powder properly, leaving clumps and uneven consistency.I also noticed that the golden coating on the whisk started to chip and peel after just a few uses, which only added to my disappointment with the product's overall quality.Given the price point of this whisk, I expected a much higher level of craftsmanship and performance.
