I have several places in my house with tile floor installed. I always use some kind of cleaning agent whenever I need to clean the floor. No matter what type of cleaner, there is always a smell, and you need to wear gloves to protect yourself from the cleaner agent. Lately, I found this small steam cleaner. Even though the size is small, it is powerful and efficient. Best of all, you don’t have to use a cleaner in most cases. After adding some water in the container, choose the level you want, and wait for about 20 seconds, you are on business. The steam is not only hot but also with some pressure, so it is powerful. Combining with brush, I get rid of some tough spots on the floor. One thing I want to mention here is that after turning on the power, there are some popping noises before the steam cleaner is ready to use. I guess that is part of the process (generate steam). In terms of electric power consumption, my measured values are not comparable with the label (Power = 3000W, Voltage = 110V) on the machine. What I measured value are Voltage = 112V, Current = 13.0A, and Power = 1.46kW. If it is truly 3000W, my breaker might be tripped.

Used to take out wrinkles and clean. Spits a bit.I would probably choose a different model.

Although it’s small, it uses up the water very slowly so you can get a lot cleaned with one fill. It picks up grime easily and isn’t too loud. It’s perfect for cleaning furniture without getting it soaked and perfect for cleaning windows. I love all of the attachments it comes with. Only pet peeve is that the plug in cord isn’t that long so you will need an extension cord.

I wanted to get a steamer to help clean and disinfect around my home. This was not it. First off it came with no instructions beyond a small booklet that didn’t really tell you anything about the product or any of the pieces or how to attach them. It wasn’t to difficult to figure out but some instruction to make sure you were doing it right would have been nice. Secondly this does not disinfect. When you are using a steamer to disinfect it needs to reach a certain temperature to do so. All this did was product steam and push the grime around. It didn’t really do more then what I could do with a mop or scrubbing brush with some soapy water. It did heat the water but not very hot. The fact that I could push the steam right on the skin on my hand without any worry of burning it tells me that it was not hot enough to disinfect anything. So there was a lot of steam but no real heat behind it. I tried for the longest time but it was not able to get off any of the deep grime that collects in the hard to reach areas. It was also putting water everywhere while I was cleaning. The attachments on the handle would leak so if I wasn’t careful water would be pooling all over the place. It also doesn’t allow you to stop the steam while you are cleaning. A trigger on the handle would have been better. When you are cleaning I like to steam an area and then wipe up what I have cleaning so that I can see if I need to keep going or not. But I couldn’t stop the steam without turning the whole unit off, so it would just keep billowing out in any direction while I was trying to wipe up the water on the service I was cleaning. It also made an off smell once it started to heat up. I could not place the smell but it was off putting. I was not happy with this item and would rather save up for a better steamer that will do the job and clean that way I would expect it to. Would not recommend.
