I was skeptical as I had seen many reviews about short life or not working at all. But even the cheapest auto parts store version was over $85, so I figured it was worth the risk. Installed now for a month and dealing with 100+ degree days and so far no issues at all. And it took all of 2 minutes to install in our 2006 Honda Pilot. So even if I have to replace every year, it will take 5 years of replacements to equal a single auto store unit. I am good with that!

Item blew the same day. Didn't think to ask for replacement until after the return period had expired. Since I couldn't return it at this point I decided to take it apart. As you can see in the first picture, the white thermal paste did not have good coverage on the heat sink and was fairly thick. Thermal paste is supposed to be compressed to a very thin layer to work. Yes, it was cheap but it didn't last long so it wasn't worth it.

Great replacement part. Looked and fit just like the OEM. I opted to buy this one over the other options due to the fast shipping.

I bought this to repair my Honda Pilot rear fan that no longer worked. Easy 10 minute no tool job. Pulled off one plastic kick panel, pulled plug off of old, twisted it out, twisted in new one, plugged it in....BACK IN BUSINESS! This looks identical to the old one in all respects other than a few markings. The original lasted 200,000 miles. If this one lasts 25k it was still a huge bargain. The local parts store wanted $75 for OEM type replacement. The difference was too big to justify the cost on an older car.
