So this is a great leash. I have a little minchi and he is all over the place this is great for him. No pulling on this leash. It's well made, sturdy and well put together, sturdy clips, and it comes with a little leash for your seat belt on the car. Well worth it! Length is plenty especially if your training, my dogs stress went down I can see that he's more confident.Clips are able to deal with all sizes of clasps and hooks.

"[12/1/2024 - First Impression:Physical Assessment: The 1"" wide, non-elastic waist belt circumference can be adjusted from 26""-1/4"" to 46-1/2"". I'm 5'10, 160 lbs. and wear the belt at 37"" circumference. There is 3 D-rings for attaching lease: (1) one fixed to the front buckle, (2) one that freely slides along the lease between the front buckle and the belt circumference adjustment buckle, and (3) one that you can slide between the front buckle and the belt circumference adjustment buckle. Careful when connecting to this 3rd ring as If your dog pulls while attached to this ring, the waist belt will tighten (don't like the design or see the purpose of this 3rd D-ring). Include is a very nice padded 7-1/2"" x 3-3/4"" pouch with a zippered main pocket accessible from the top which has a pocket divider running lengthwise and a front pocket covered by a flap secured down by a 1""x3/4"" piece of Velcro. The belt thread through a mesh opening on the back of the pouch. On the right side is a headphone cable passthrough. I can easily fit my 6-1/4"" x 3"" cell phone in any pocket. The 1"" wide, elastic lease can stretch from 37"" - 65-1/2"". There are red padded handles located at both ends of the lease that are easy to grab. Their is an included optional elastic lease extension that can stretch from 21"" - 41"". The waist belt and leases have 3 rows of ""white stitching"" in the middle that are actually retro-reflective tape and does reflect very well.Usage: With just the main lease, when fully retracted, your dog is at a comfortable distance from your side without tripping over your dog or dragging the lease. When running and my dog suddenly stops to sniff, the elastic band gave me time to stop without abruptly jerking her collar/neck. If your dog prefers to lead or trail, then adding the extension lease provides the perfect standoff without the lease being too long. However, note, if the dog decides to run next to you, then the lease with extension will drag on the ground. Because my dog likes to run/sniff both sides of the sidewalk, I prefer to position the buckle on my left hip and the pouch at my back so that the freely sliding D-ring can accommodate my dog constantly switching sides. Conclusion: Great price for a full-featured, hands-free dog lease with safety and comfort in mind.]"

My dog normally pulls but with this leash all I have to do is tug lightly and he understands that he needs to slow down

I have a large puppy who is still in training and this leash doesn't not provide the jerk resistance as some other brands. The handles scrunch up when you use them. Overall disappointed with it. Its functional but quality is just so so. Might work better for smaller dogs but I don't have one of those.

Love this leash! It can handle a big dog, but ok for little dogs too! Really like the freedom to drink a coffee, or talk on the cell.

This is a very complete hands free leash system. The pouch is very light and large enough for a phone with case, keys, money, and of course poop bags. I like that it is removable too. The leash part is bungee style with a clip at each end for easy attachment and detachment, good for getting into and out of car. It also has a handle at each end, so while walking hands free you have a handle by your waist and one by your dog’s neck when you need to keep them close. The bungee is supposed to help with pulling, but for my dogs it's hit or miss. Sometimes they stop others they keep pulling. The belt can be used around the waist or across the torso, but for me and my dogs it works better across the waist since they move around a lot and sometimes pull. It also comes with a seat belt clip, which I haven't used yet so can't report. One thing I've noticed, which does not affect functionality, is that some of the D rings and metal loops sometimes move or turn on the side so you may have the flat part of the D ring facing outward and the rounded inside, but again it does not take away other than visually. All materials, stitching, buckles, zipper, velcro are sturdy and hold well when my 50-65lbs dogs pull on them.
