I wasn't sure that I would like this hat since my previous lighted hat used 4 button batteries and the batteries would last about three weeks. On this hat the batteries were dead when I tried to use it on the second use. Plus ➕ the battery box wasn't attached to the hat like my other hat. It just flops around making it hard to use and change the batteries.

Needed something for taking the dog out in the dark and this hat is perfect. Plenty of light when needed, easy to recharge, and the hat looks good on its own.

We liked these for walks before sunup. I also carry little flashlight, it's brighter. Cap battery died in 5 week using 1/2 hour to 40 min a day. You need a tiny #0 Phillips screw driver to change two 2023 battery. My husband is fine with that. They should make it easier to change the batteries, but it might need a larger battery case. You could use if needed to change a tire in the dark or other work.

I assumed that if nothing else, this would be an inexpensive baseball cap. That said, it turns out to be a rather sturdy baseball cap, with a very bright LED lamp in the brim, sufficient to guide my way down an unlighted path at night. I have not measured, but a rough estimate is that the beam provides visibility about 15 - 20 feet in front of me, enough to make sure that I stay out of the brush and the water.

My husband had a hat like this years ago and lost it. He has always lamented the loss of his hat. This was a perfect replacement for that first hat! It looks exactly as pictured. Lights work really well. Should fit anyone as the band is adjustable. Good buy!

Bought as a somewhat jokey Birthday present for my husband. To my surprise he said “I was looking for a cap like that!” Live in a village where in some places there are no street lights, so now there is no need for him to take a torch (or the light on the mobile) walking at night. Handy in the car to see the ignition in the dark.

Wrong color was sent, but it's not worth returning as it took a long time to get out where I live. So you're taking a risk when ordering this as they might send you the wrong one.Other than that, light is bright and does it's job.

Great for walking the dog at night especially when when picking up poo. More convenient and practical than carrying a torch. Gives off a surprisingly good beam of light. Nice looking cap. Would recommend
