This is the second pack of these socks I've purchased within the last 3 years. The socks are comfortable, durable, the perfect ankle height, and no loose strings that get caught on your toenail. The only reason I had to buy a second pack is because my wife stole most of the other ones I had from the first pack lol!

These Hanes X-Temp Comfort Cool Ankle socks, black in size 6-12, fits my size 11 feet perfectly. The socks have a nice stretchiness to them and then material is comfortable to wear. I think they help keep my feet cooler. The pack comes in two bunches and each bunch has the socks secured to each other in two places with that thin plastic thing inserted through them. There's a little trick to get those plastic things to release the bunch and not have to damage any socks. If you look at both sides of the plastic thing, you can see one end is bigger and more tab like. Use your thumb and forefinger of one hand to hold the tab stationary, and with your other hand, spin the bunch of socks around in circles. Within moments the plastic thing comes apart releasing the bunch. Do the same to the second fastened part of the bunch.

Nice fitting socks. They have a LOT of stretch in them. When I first opened the package, I thought I purchased baby or child socks. After putting them on, I first noticed how thin the socks felt. So thin in fact, that when putting the black socks on, I could easily see my feet peeking through. I've been wearing these for about 3 months, and they've gone through the wash quite a few times. They're holding strong and have remained just as stretchy. Except after wearing these a few times, they don't shrink back as small.I do question the longevity of the socks due to their thinness, but only time will tell. These are definitely not thick socks though. These are nice thin socks that feel great for every day office type use, sweaty workouts, and things of that nature. I would not wear these socks with work boots or during activities where blisters are likely to occur.Short of that, the socks breath very easily and are quite comfy.
