I bought this about a year and a half ago, my grandson loved it then (1 year old) and STILL Loves it! His baby brother (1 year old) is also enjoying it now. Very well made. So much better than plastic. I am sure it will last for the next (last) grandchild too. Worth every penny!

This is a really great play toy shopping cart. It's very sturdy and I like that it is made of wood rather than plastic. The bright color is really fun as well. I will say that the thing that I do not like about it is that the wheels don't really "turn" Otherwise it is a really great toy!

The fixed wheels cause frustration for little ones trying to turn the cart. Although the product is very sturdy and would presumably last for quite a while, we had to return it because of the rigidness in the wheels. If you have an older child that can grasp picking up the front wheels and turning it, it still might be too rigid, as the rubber linings make it hard to steer on wood.

Mis hijas juegan mucho con el carro, siempre están con él, tienen 3 y 1 año. Es resistente, meten mucho peso y está aguantando bastante bien. Además, estéticamente es precioso. En general es una buena compra, recomendable 100%.

Sehr schöner Einkaufswagen zum Spielen für Kinder. Gut verarbeitet und stabil. Es lassen sich auch die Puppe oder Kuscheltiere damit herumfahren. Das Kind (fast 2 J.) nutzt ihn gerne.

No wheel issues here---and I have a toddler who practically does wheelies all over the hardwood floors with this cart. Is it just me, or is it pretty much identical to the one that Pottery Barn Kids sells (except different colors)? Either way--we love this thing. Love the wood and the cloth basket. I was debating about the metal Melissa and Doug cart, but I much prefer having a solid basket vs one that has holes in it (aka I could already feel a toddler tantrum coming on with various toys getting stuck in the holes). Super sturdy, we love it!

I bought this as an early birthday present for my nephew's daughter who is almost 3 years old. She loves it! It is very stable and not too heavy. So far we have not experienced the problem of the wheels coming off that a few other reviewers reported. The quality is quite good!I was amazed at how compact it was in its disassembled state. It was very easy to assemble with the included allen wrench. The wheels come already attached to the base. All you need to do is assemble the basket pieces to the handlebar pieces and then attach them to the base. My nephew and is family live in Colombia, so they will need to disassemble it and pack it in their luggage when they return home. Fortunately it breaks down into pieces that should fit easily into a large suitcase or duffle along with their clothing.

This shopping trolley is another winner from Hape and just serves to convince me that our previous product problem with them was an isolated incident. It's easy to assemble, rolls nicely, is far sturdier than our previous plastic trolley, is just the right height for our three year-old, and fits a good amount of food toys. Our son loves it!

We bought this for our youngest (2 years old) for Christmas. It was totally easy to assemble. It is cute and sturdy. But most importantly, our little guy just LOVES it. It is usually a grocery cart, but sometimes it is a stroller, lol. He even sat in it on Christmas Day. It held up but I took that opportunity to help him learn NOT to sit in it so he wouldn't break it and be sad. He hasn't sat in it again. Phew! Highly recommend this toy. (Really love this brand!)

This shopping cart is fantastic. My toddler has some mobility difficulties and is trying to learn to walk. I think I have tried, examined, or researched every walking/push toy on the market. Most of the popular walker toys just don't have the stability she needed and would frequently tip over. I purchased this shopping cart as a walking toy. It is extremely well made-- very solid and does not tip. It has the stability I was looking for. The wheels do turn a little fast for your average child learning to walk, but I modified them so they rolled a little slower. The shopping basket is also a great feature because it is very motivating to put things in and out of the cart or push a doll/stuffed animal. The best part is that I know she will be able to use it for many years to come for pretend play. I highly recommend!
