This vest is made of Polyester and is durable, light and windproof. The outside material is shiny and black. The design is simple and basic, there is nothing too fancy about the style, but it works. The vest has a pocket on each side which can be very useful for carrying some small items.The hood is removable so you can choose to wear this with the hood or without depending on what you prefer. This vest can be warm enough for some winter days or could also be worn in the fall.Children should find wearing this vest comfortable and they should be able to wear it for an extended period of time without any issue. It is not something I would have them wear everyday, but an item they can wear from time to time. It will be added the our outerwear rotation for the cooler weather.

It feels like a warm nice puffer jacket with hoodie. But the size was too much oversize. I ordered a small but it seems like XL from shoulders, waist, arm holes and hoodie. The material was also wrinkled in the packaging- so not sure how to clear up these wrinkles. Little disappointed :(
