I bought these as spacers for making Kelly Galloup style articulated streamers. They're a bit bigger than I expected or wanted, but I'm going to try and make it work. Think I can get away with using 1 of these instead of 2 of the regular ones, if for some reason it doesn't work I'll probably use them for Texas and Carolina rigs. Fyi if you're looking for the beads Galloup uses on his streamers go with Killer Caddis large glass beads.Update: I tied a fly using just one if these beads as mentioned and it worked perfectly. Just the right amount of space created, movement in water looked great. Will buy again!
