The pincushion itself is very straightforward. It's well made, no holes that I found and the strap does well with keeping the cushion itself in place. The velvet of the pincushion extends to the strap, which is a nice change from other pincushions. The base of the cushion is rigid - great for the cushion itself, but it did become a bit clunky and uncomfortable on my wrist. I also wish that the elastic strap was a tiny bit longer so that I can wear the cushion higher on my forearm to compensate for the base being on a joint, but otherwise this is a great standard for any seamstress or designer.

This fits perfect and is so cute! It's also very functional. I got the pin cusion in black since I always use pins with a yellow head. They show up very well on the black velvet fabric that the pin cushion is covered in.Everyone has a preference as to where they would wear the pincushion - closer to the fingers or closer to the elbow. This would affect the tightness of the elastic on the wrist band. My wrist is probably average size and I find it quite comfortable to wear there.It seems to be a well made item and the price is reasonable.Recommended.
