Material is decent, I like the blue color. Item fits over horses face and ears but is to lose even when fastened as small as it can go. Because it's loose it comes off easy. I don't think a small would fit his face well. So it's which is the worse of 2 evils. I'll have to find a way to shorten the fastening velcro to make it more secure. for reference my horse is a Quarter Horse, about 14.2 hh. Medium build.

The mask appears to be made well, and liked the area for the forelock, but it was too small. Size Medium fit my 900lb quarter horse around the face and secured well, but the eye darts were way too high up. My mare isn’t a large anything so I’m afraid to order a size up. Too bad. It looked good out of the package.

Love the pick & blue color I got? I got the XS for my mini horse and it did not fit but also have some for my other horses and love them
