This item is definitely cute but in no way could one consider it robe material. The material used is so thin that if I tried hard enough I literally could put a hole in it with my finger. It is going to be a throw away item for my grandson because it won’t withstand every day use let alone a good washing. Do not recommend at all!

This is an attractive bathroom for a Harry Potter fan. My 7 year old grandson finds it comfortable and enjoys wearing it. The plaid is unusual and looks great. He is a skinny boy and it fits him well, but for a stockier child you'd want to buy the next size up.
