The saw hasn’t been used yet, but having the ability to adjust it to where the teeth are on the opposite side is a plus. It keeps you from having to adjust your body position more than necessary. I’ve used fixed blades before, but this is going to be better.

The blade repeatedly came detached whilst I was sawing the base of one door casing. That makes it dangerous. Threw it in the trash.

Although a small saw, the teeth are not fine enough for working with smaller profiles, so you need room to exercise a full action to get started. The result is that the teeth tear the edge of the wood and the cut doesn't start accurately. It's easy to switch the blade around and is sharp.

I find so many uses for this saw. My older one of another brand got dull when cutting lath and plaster walls, so I was glad to find the exact same saw, even though it's another brand. This saw seems to be sold under many brand names, but such a handy saw, I just looked for the best price.
