I had ordered 1.5 liter initially but after pressure spewed the liquid out and subsequently having whistle problem, I ordered 2 liter Hawkins. The depth is perfect to cook Daal, lentils, chickpeas and making curries without leakage. I cook for 1 person and so far it is working great! I highly recommend 2 liter cooker even for 1 person cooking to avoid leakage.

This pan did not work with my induction stove at first. My stove would give an error code after a couple minutes of cooking. I stuck a sheet magnet I had from a sticker on the bottom and left the pan for a few days so it would induce a magnetic field in the pan. Presto! It works perfectly now.

Hawkins is undoubtedly the leader in pressure cooker makers in India. They make the best quality pressure cookers and this model is no exception. During the lockdown, I had to buy Prestige pressure cooker as that was the only option available at that time in the nearby shop and that turned out to be the worst purchase I ever had, and in just two years that malfunctioned. We are using Hawkins in our family for several years and never had any complaints. Hawkins is long lasting.

I’ve always had a thought which Cooker to buy since my family likes dal cooked real smooth and fine paste and after cooking in this Hawkins I’ve realised this is it . To everyone who is using prestige and wasting gas please pay some extra cash and buy futura . It took me just 4 minutes on timer for the first whistle and total 6-8 minutes for 5 whistles . I highly recommend to buy this one

Product is of high quality and strong enough. But the weaker side is since it is of smaller size water comes out during the whistling time making it messy. Otherwise Hawkins has its brand value in giving best quality products.

This 2qt. pot is perfect for 2-3 people. So much easier to control the amount you cook at one time. Easy to clean, safe, heats very fast & performs great. The weight works different from most pressure cookers but after using it a few times it’s very easy to understand. Out of my pressure cookers this is my wife & my go to pressure cooker, love it!

Buy this little one if you are looking for a quick rice cooker. It just finishes the job in 15 mins and cooks enough rice for one or two persons. Cleaning and using are very simple. Sturdy build.

I have used it several times now and it has performed well. The venting is a bit quirky. It lets out a big blast then is quiet for a while, then repeats. Otherwise it looks nice and seems well crafted.
