This is a nice haybag with decent material and stitching. The hardware is a bit on the cheap side but should hold up through several horse shows or we can add a heavy shackle or carabiner to replace it if it breaks. I'm an not as concerned about the weight of the hay on the buckle, but the tugging by a horse that can create the most force.Unlike several other haybags I have reviewed, the cross straps on this bag are held firmly in place and not held by velcro.At just under $35, this is right on the price. You get what you pay for. A solid 4 Stars.

Seems to be holding up great. I don't feed square bales so I can't tell you how many flakes it holds unfortunately, but i can fit half a wrap of a round bale in if I stuff it really tightly. I kind of wish it had velcro instead of a zipper because it is annoying to have to totally clear the top from hay before zipping. All in all though it is a very good hay bag. I'm using it for an animal in ICU that has trouble pulling hay through so I did cut a couple holes larger so she could use it. Even with the cuts, it's holding up VERY well.

I love this hay bag so much, I don't even know where to begin!! The product quality is a solid yes as it is very thick and well made, difficult to be destroyed and as a horse owner, that is when you know the product is good! The squares on the front are also very durable with my Friesian mare chewing at them to get to the hay. I think this is the perfect slow feeder for traveling or even at home and very minimal mess with it as well. The design art is super cute, fun little add in for sure! The top of the bag does have two straps on each side to hang it (guessing it is made more so to clip to fences or stall bars), however I honestly have no issue hanging it off the trailer from just one strap (no rips). I do wish that the bag had a single hook option at the top added on as well for extra ways to hang it without putting all the weight on one side! Other than that, I think the bag is overall great!!! I love it sooo much and it gets all the compliments as well during horse shows. The metal rings are very strong as well. Overall this is a very sturdy hay bag and I am going to be ordering more! We have a few of these hay feeders. This one is the sturdiest one so far. I love the rectangular shape and the zippered top. The horses try to grab bigger bites out of the bags with open tops putting strain on the hanging straps. There is no temptation of that with this bag. The rectangular shape makes it easy to throw a few clips in and zip it closed. The front grid seems well constructed. Our horses are notorious for ripping the seams out of the front grid in no time. This one seems strong enough to take some abuse. This is the sturdiest and best designed I have seen so far. I look forward to using this.UPDATE: After a couple of weeks of regular use, this one is holding strong! Easy to slip in a clip of alfalfa or hay. The front grate shows no signs of giving way under pressure. This is my go to for everyday use. All of the other ones we have used have caved under the pressure in just a few uses. This one is holding strong!

I am very disappointed in this product, it broke after one use. I thought that this would be perfect for my horse who isn’t aggressive with hay bags at all and the stitching just gave way

I really wanted to love these bags but they fell apart within HOURS! Unusable and a waste of a lot of money. I'm so annoyed. The tabs that the hooks clip onto completely came off every single one I bought, within hours of having them. Look elsewhere for a more durable hay bag, these are not it!
