Perfect fit for my '98 Passport and it got the little owl out from under my hood. Fulfills the function of a thermostatic fan clutch. Seems to "hold on" a little longer than I would prefer (and longer than the old one) when cold. Start the truck up and it positively roars till I either rev the engine past 2k or, paradoxically, it warms up. After that, it barely spins the fan till the engine bay starts getting warm. The literature that came with it, limited though it may be, mentioned that this behavior is exactly as it was designed; just seems odd to me. And loud. Don't get me wrong, it does the job and the fit was spot-on, but if the old one's bearings weren't hooting like an owl, I'd put that one back on.

Since I install this fan it has improve the performance of my vehicle, it has less noise and generally my vehicle is working better because this fan is cooling the vehicle much faster the product is great.
