Clutch fan piece of junk only lasted 7 months. I tried contacting the manufacturer to find out what the warranty would be. No response at all I wished I had read the bad reviews for this item before I purchased it. Please don’t waste your time or money go OEM.

Update: This piece of junk lasted exactly a year. The oem original lasted 200k miles. This one lasted about less than 3,000 miles as I just drive my Jeep to the local grocery store and that’s it. No long trips. Started it today and the fan didn’t sound like a jet engine when cold which means the clutch is bad already. Sure enough opened hood and I can stop the fan spinning with my hand. What a piece of junk to get less than 3,000 miles and 1 year. The spring inside already wore out and I have to pay a mechanic again to reinstall a new one. This is the fan clutch needed to fit the wj jeep grand Cherokee. It fits my 2002 and fits the 1999-2004 Jeep grand Cherokee for those of you that want to do the fan upgrade from electric to mechanical. It fits the following fans for same jeepGM 11 blade 15976889Dorman Fan Blade part #: 620-602ACDelco 15-80712My last one lasted about 7 years.

This fan clutch didn’t last longer than 2 years. I bought it Jan 2021 and it has gone out in nov 23. Do not recommend this Hayden brand, unless you want to replace it every 2 years.

Bought this to replace my stock one that stopped working. It's nice to hear the fan running again and my overheating at low speeds issue is completely solved. I like hearing it working when the truck stats getting hot, and then turning off once I speed up. Lets me know it is working as designed.

I used this on my 2004 Grand Cherokee 4.0 with the Dorman 620-602 fan. My Jeep kept overheating with just the electric fan which would not go on high speed even after replacing both fan relays. I didn't bother with the fan motor once I researched and found this combo as a solution. So far so good. I put the fan and clutch together first but kept screws a little loose. I was able to squeeze it in without removing the shroud or loosening the radiator. I just pried up on the shroud and since fan is plastic the blades had some give. It was way easier than I thought it would be and believe me, Murphy's Law usually hits me hard. Once on the shaft I was able to get a combo wrench on the 4 fan bolts. I hate to admit but I only hand tightened the clutch onto the shaft. When the engine spun the fan, physics did the tightening. No, it didn't loosen back up when the engine was turned off. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is that it seemed to be full on all the time. Fan speed matched engine. I thought it should disengage partially. Hey better than overheating.

I started having issues with my 04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo overheating. I changed out my Radiator about a year ago thanks to a crack, and recently changed the thermostat out but it would still overheat if it sat idle at all. Especially with the AC on. Since this is the vehicle my spouse and daughter drive around in I had to find out what was going on. Basically the existing electric fan stopped working. So I found a few forums that recommended a mechanical upgrade and this was one of the parts listed along with the . It was a trick getting it installed as you have to put each piece down in the shroud then bolt them together, THEN install on the shaft but it works well, no more overheating issues. The only bad thing I can say is that Amazon will show you that this does not fit the Jeep Cherokee when in fact it does.
