Premier achat de ce type de connecteurs en remplacement d'un modèle professionnel. Peu surpris de constater que toutes les pièces sont en plastique, mais de belle finition. Les contacts sont également propres, reste à tester les caractéristiques électriques. Le capuchon de fermeture de la partie femelle fait, quand a lui, plutôt « cheap ». Présence de 2 joints toriques pour assurer l'étanchéité entre parties mâle et femelle ainsi que pour la partie mâle et son conduit coudé. Le presse-étoupe a un diamètre généreux pour accepter un câble jusqu'à 15 mm et peut être réduit jusqu'à 8 mm. La câblage est assez aisé et l'assemblage de la partie broches avec le coude est vissé. Le serrage n'est toutefois pas très concluant de par l'écrou de serrage accolé à la bague servant au verrouillage du connecteur. Une torsion du câble sera sans aucun doute à prévoir dû à la possibilité d'orienter facilement le coude. Hormis ce problème de conception, les connecteurs de cette gamme sont parfaits pour une utilisation à moindre coût.

I grew up in industrial mixed manufacturing, and custom production.This, is an incredible quality. Ratcheting threadlocks and the density of this are stronger than aluminum.. and such a nice quality.. I'm tickled.

This is a surprisingly well made connector. You are going to need a very steady hand with a soldering iron to attach all hose tiny pins to the wires. It goes a lot faster and easier if you tin all the wires first and add just a tiny drop of solder to each pin before attaching any wires. It also looks a hell of a lot neater if you use just a little heat shrink on each connection.All in all, it is a very nice connector and I really like the 90 degree bend because I had to fit the whole thing in a small area. Well worth the cost!

for the price, it was much better than expected. Sealed up good and seems well made. Time will tell in the sun, but so far I'm impressed!
