I currently have this headphone amp hooked up under my work desk and have the input connected directly to my pc. It is so handy allowing up to 4 headphone outputs, each with it's own individual level control. I currently have my M50x connected in output 1 and Shp9500 connected to output 2 and have been using this amp to switch between the two without having to disconnect any cables. It is also nice for sharing audio to both headphones at the same time with individual output controls so that I can share my pc audio with friends without having to blast my speakers (great for couch co-op gaming.
