I been wanting to get one for awhile. I used it to remove these hard adhesives inside my shower. I’m amazed on how much weight those put on and how easy this made it come off, I wish I would’ve thought it through and put them on wax or something to see if I could reuse them but I’ll be trying this out on my next unfinished project which it taking off paint on a drawer. And my next start up project that will be putting a wrap on my sons ride on car

Works even better than i expected. Heats fast and plenty of power. I live the attachable attachments that come with it and the fact that you can hang it up for hands free uses. The price was reasonable as well

If I had to find one thing to complain about, it's not built like a rock & if you drop it down a flight of stairs, you will probably break it. But, it works well, it gives fine adjustment of temperature, it came with great accessories & the price was right. If I need another one, I'll be looking for this same one again.

So it’s very light weight compared to my old harbor 9$ one that only had two settings. This has a wide range of temps and two speeds. I like that it can be laid on the back cap to stand up, it has a metal kickstand to keep it up right. The attachments are great, and the accessories are great if you need them.The cons:The heat dial seems to have a VERY fine line between cool air and air straight from H E LL ! I haven’t found that sweet spot yet. It seems to go from not hot enough to burn your project to the ground rather quicklySince it’s so light weight it tips over very easily with a pull of the cord or light bumpThe heat gun says you must let it run with cool air before you shut it off. I’ve always direct shut off my heat gun … so if you are using it a lot you have to either let it run while working with your project, or let it cool shut it off and then reheat it all over again.The cord is rather short.But for the price I will keep it.Update: had to contact customer serviceEXCELLENT changed my 4 star to 5 star. The rep was polite nice and fixed my problem. For the price the customer service is stellar.
