It didn’t work. I was freezing and this item didn’t get hot at all. The battery works great with every other item except for this.

I lifted this item to a Homeless Veteran. He placed it in his sleeping bag that night. The next day he told me that it was like having a tiny oven in his sleeping bag. The size fit perfectly in his sleeping bag, and the warmth was what he needs. He also said the extra pad brought him comfort and made the ground feel not so hard. The pad quality does seem as if it should last for a while.

Charged up the power bank, that is sold separately. Tired it out later on that night when I got it. I was pretty warm in it inside the sleeping bag. My only problem, it’s a metal grommet around the on and off button. Got burnt the first night but, afterwards, I’ve had no problems.

Turned the pad on for about to 5 minutes - felt some warmth and was happy with the heat on the middle settingTurned it off to do some other things, but when I went back about 5 minutes later to put it away and disconnect the battery pack, the power button burned my finger.I am returning it. Should have to read the reviews more carefully.

Opened it up and plugged into my usb power bank. It heated right up and the power bank shows a constant 7watts being used to power it when on high. On low it still uses 7watts but it cycles on and off every half second. On low it is still pretty warm and cozy.I was wondering if there were going to be any wires to feel like electric blankets have, but this doesn’t have any wires large enough to feel inside. So far it’s been on for three hours and is working great.

My favorite feature on this heated sleeping bag liner is that it has a zippered pouch to hold the battery bank. Plug it in and zip it up and there are no cords to mess with! There is a USB extension cord included in case you want to use an external power source and not a pocket-sized power bank. Nice feature to have that included. As listed, there are 5 heating zones on this pad, sufficient but it would be nice to have maybe 8 to be more spread evenly throughout the whole length and width. The three heat settings are easy to flip between with the illuminated button, click the button to move through the settings. A note - to turn it on, hold the button down for a short while. I initially thought either my power pack wasn't working or my blanket was defective. Just be patient when you hold the button down to turn it on. In addition to warming a sleeping bag, this is also handy to either sit on or drape over your lap when sitting outside in chilly weather. Great for soccer or football moms and dads!
