I bought this to repair an inflatable boat. I patched it up following the instructions and it worked. It was quick and easy to use. The glue though is not usable several times. You probably just have 1 or 2 uses within a few days as it hardened up on me. I would buy again if needed.

I have an above ground pool that 12 ft × 33 inches. It had developed 2 holes in the winter months and I ordered these patches after filling the pool and noticing the water draining faster than I could keep the pool filled above the filter basket.I didn't want to drain the pool and found these patches. They were perfect!!!! They worked under water and stopped the water drainage instantly! At first inspection, they don't seem to be sticky. But when installed, they stuck seamlessly to the liner.I bought the clear patches and you can barely see them underwater.Overall, I am impressed and very pleased with my purchase.

Our inflatable hot tub sustained a number of scrapes over the summer and had a bunch of leaks to deal with this fall. I was able to patch most of them successfully with some kits from the hardware store. There was one though that kept failing. I tried patching it twice but it was still leaking. I got this kit and it's really heavy duty and allowed me to permanently fix that leak. I'll be keeping one of these kits around all the time for the hot tub and any pool toys that might get leaks this summer.

I’m a residential construction tradesman- specializing in custom showers- I know about many adhesives, and this one works very well when properly used- in winter storage our above ground soft sided pool had a rodent chew an inch and a half hole (think Oreo size) through the sidewall- I originally attempted a patch with to part epoxy as it’s what I had on hand- epoxy binds to almost anything except vinyl-I purchased the large repair kit, and attempted the repair underwater, I cut a small price of packaging plastic ( the annoying display packaging used to hold products on display hooks kids toys come in that’s impossible to open) about a half inch bigger than the hole to provide support so the patch didn’t balloon out the hole- it overlapped the hole 1/4” on all sides and nearly stopped the large leak- and scrubbed the surrounding surface with a nylon scrub pad- then I cut a patch about 2” bigger than the hole allowing 3/4” coverage. I applied the adhesive and let it get tacky, which happened immediately, and applied another layer and placed the patch- it didn’t seal no matter how hard I tried to “push the bubbles out”-I recorded the kit and bought the 4 oz glue can- when I removed the bad patch it removed the layer of vinyl that is laminated over the fiber in the side wall everywhere it was applied well enough- I placed a pre cut piece of plastic over the hole as the old one came off with the patch- I cut a new vinyl patch from the kit and applied the adhesive again- this time very generously- ideally I’d say 1/8” of glue- this stuff cures fast and the added material keeps it pliable don’t be shy with the glue- slapped that baby on and gently pressed and rolled the glue to the edges, and repeated that procedure multiple times over 10 minutes as the glue stiffened. I’m sure somebody with more dexterous hand could make a prettier patch but I’m confident it will hold- I believe the kit would have adequate glue for pin holes or slices, but for a gaping hole I wish I’d bought the can the first time- it comes with light duty clear vinyl material so now I’m set up to repair the kids inflatable toys all summer long-FYI - I got the glue on me the second time around and surprisingly it was easily scrubbed off my skin- avoid it if you can but don’t panic- it’s not like pvc or abs glue- a $20 kit saved me $800 on a new pool liner

I carefully applied as instructed to cover a one inch tear. A few days later, the glue had peeled up and the piece came off. It's supposed to work underwater in a pool. I used it over a one inch tear in my crawlspace "plastic" which was slightly damp when I applied the patch.

Worked great as I followed all the instructions. But after couple of days and I beleive is due to the heat and sun of Florida it deflated. I've try so many othe Amazon options for inflatables and all melted the glue and or tapes. So what I do now is just inflate it when I'm using it. The pics are from today june the 2nd and the patch is on the right side of the pic. It comes with a darker blue patch but that lighter blue is another type of patch I used with the same glue and also didn't work :(. Maybe if it as more resistant to the sun...

The patch itself is great quality. Used on pool Cover. However the glue it comes with is worthless. I’d give it 5 stars if it was just for the patches. But since it was for the glue too I knocked a star off. I had to buy an industrial glue from the local home repair store. Worked great.
