I need this one, not for a punching bag, but for a chair hammock that I already have, that is going to be place in my covered patio. The plate is strong enough and will hold, it alone weights a little more than a pound. The carabiner and swivel I will have to verify if they hold or if I need to change them, since I will be the one swinging in the chair hammock below. The place I’m planning to install it is a metal bar or galvalume (steel) in my patio ceiling (all the covered patio is made of galvalume). It will be professionally installed and will have to check if will be ok only with screws or if they will need some welding (metal to metal). No matter how, will try to attached the plate to the galvalume, because I need the strong hold that it will give to the chair hammock. I’m lightweight, but is better to be sure and safe.
