One of the straps pulled apart at the stitching when we were tightening it. Looks ok, but basically useful as a cosmetic cover.

The bag is very sturdy with strong seams to hold in sand. There hasn't been any sand seeping through gaps or holes in the fabric or seams. Overall I'm very happy with this bag to hold down my basketball hoop.

We live in a very windy area and we always need to extra secure everything because of the high winds. My son has a Portable Basketball Hoop and we bought this anchor sandbag to add stability and prevent tipping during windy conditions. It fits perfectly and it has been doing the job as expected. It is very easy to fill because of the wide opening and it has straps to secure the bag to the base of the baskball hoop.

I'm using this bag to hold two 50# sand bags in the back of my truck for extra weight. In the past, I've had issues with these sandbags either turning to a wet sandy ice block or tearing open in the cold. I'm optimistic that this bag will prevent both of those issues, and that I'll be able to open up the bag and access dry sand if I really need it throughout the winter.I was pleasantly surprised that when I lifted the 100# of sand into my truck, the bag was quite sturdy and did not seem to show any excessive strain.

This Yohood basketball hoop base sandbag is similar to a heavyweight duffle bag. The size is correct at roughly 26x17. A bit bigger when the sides are bulging out. Comparing the fabric material to items I have at home, it looks and feels like 600D poly.I like that the two top handle's poly webbing straps continuously go all the way around the sandbag, down the sides and across the bottom to the other side. There is no way the straps can "rip out" under heavy load. These two strap handles are the only handles on the bag. There are no handles on either end of the bag. There is a velcro strap on one end that looks like a handle, but it is for securing the bag to the hoop base pole. It is NOT a load bearing handle. The zipper could be improved. It is generic quality, not heavy duty. But seeing as the zipper is not load bearing like side seams and handle straps, it's fine as long as not too much sand gets into the teeth and jam it up.

Finally got one of those "roller" basketball hoops. Also got the bags of sand to hold it in place. Oh, but those bags of sand look trashy. The Yohood Heavy-Duty Anchor Bag solves that problem. It is durable, but also aesthetically pleasing. I don't know that you can ever make one of these roller basketball hoops look classy, but this bag looks a WHOLE lot better than the droopy bags of sand.Zippers and straps are substantial - I'm not gonna test to see if they hold when I lift this thing filled with nearly 200 pounds of sand, though - because I'd probably dislocate my shoulder. I didn't pour the sand in, I put the bags inside this bag. That'll make it easier to move / switch around if / when the time comes (versus shoveling out loose sand). Now I just need to find my shot, or else I'm going to have a stack of unwanted bricks.

The bag fit 4 sandbags, a little snug, but everything fit.We were trying to figure out what the velcro straps velcro to and one strap came out of the seam. So it's no longer waterproof as the seam now has a hole.Disappointed at the lack of reinforcement stitching on straps.Guess it'll worrk for the price.

Here was my dilemma: HOA doesn’t allow basketball hoops out front so while we wanted to have one we also needed to be able to move it fairly easily. Filling the base with water while easy, seemed to much of a waste to have to fill and dump everytime we wanted to play (which is almost daily). My solution…sand. This bag holds plenty of sand in it to keep the hoop weighed down and sturdy. To be honest, since there’s usually at least 2 of us, it’s an easy move as well. We have to tip and store the hoop in our third car garage so being able to quickly set up and tear down is a huge plus. Other that that, the material of the bag is holding up very well. No issues with tearing, over stretching, or breaking so as far as I’m concerned, it’s working perfectly for us. I hope this helps you!
