If there was a zero star, I would pick it. Bought 2 of these. However, one does not work at all and the other one just slips constantly on the 2x4 not lifting the wall. Tried to return them but the time to return the item has lapsed. Do not waste your time nor money on this item.

Product worked as described, hard to believe more construction people don't use this, has to save back injuries.Made lifting of 8' x 24' walls a one person job.Would recommend changing the nuts to a nylon locking style as they loosen easily.

I was able to stand a 24ft wall today on my own. These jacks make it super easy. If you don't have a big crew or even if you do these will save everyones back when lifting. I'm impressed with these framing jacks and at a reasonable price. Tomorrow I'm lifting a 30ft wall.

I've had a pair of these for as long as I can remember. Forty years at least. So when my junk iron man threw them in his trailer without me knowing, I was more than a little upset. Needless to say, he got to pay for this new pair and was taken back by how pricey they are. He said: "If I'd of known they were made of gold, I would have taken my junk somewhere else to sell it. Yes, they are expensive, but like I said, they've lasted me forty years, at least. So they should be a one time investment.... unless you have a greedy junk man, because they are heavy, and heavy duty. The longest wall I've tried to raise, with a pair, is 32 feet. And if you're in construction, you know how much a two by six exterior wall weighs, with sheeting on it. So yes, they are worth every penny, if you often find yourself having to work alone, or short handed.
