Waste of money. Doesn’t ratchet properly and is unsafe. The ratchet part has a lot of play in it and wiggles back and forth. I lifted a kitchen chair with it just to test something and if it was an object that was really heavy it could have really hurt someone. When it drops something it releases with no resistance, nothing holds it back.

This is a nice little chain hoist, its compact while still being quite capable. I have a larger on that has more capacity, but it's heavy and cumbersome to set up and maneuver. I like that the hooks on the hoist have safety latches to keep them safely connected. The hoist has a nice chrome plated chain that will keep it from rusting. It's easy to pull slack chain through the hoist and the ratchet mechanism works well and smoothly. It's not often that I need to lift anything more than 1000 lbs so this little hoist is going to get a lot of use.

This hoist is compact and comes with a storage bag.It has a nice load capacity.My issue is with the ratchet mechanism, which does not seem to work reliably.

I was so happy to come across this as I’d been needing a hoist for my shop for awhile. It’s very easy to install and also to use. The hardware is solid and it is able to lift a good amount of weight easily, which definitely helps out a ton in the shop and around the house! Very happy with this hoist.

Countless times I've wanted to use hoists in tight spots for smaller jobs, but was compelled not to because of the size and awkwardness of them. Now I don't have to worry about that. This hoist is very compact and delivers enough strength for its size, making it perfect for smaller, tight access jobs. Very simple operation and a nice little nylon bag to keep it in when not in use, so less loose chains hanging around cluttering things up.
