got this for my college son to use with his electric scooter. He used this lock (and a rope lock with it) for almost a year for both his scooter and his bike. As soon as school was over, and the crowds went away (my son lives on campus), someone stole his bike and scooter as they were locked together on the posts. Now we are not sure how they did it because we didn't find either lock laying around. We don't know if they were cut, they had a key, or both. Someone said that there are only so many different lock key sizes, so most likely whoever took it had a bunch of keys for the lock and just tried them all until one opened it, and then they cut the rope one that was on them too. If that's the case, there is no lock that will keep that from happening. So I think it's good a great lock unless a thief really wants what you got and they have time and privacy to get it. I'd say they only other thing that may have been better is one of these with a code lock you can set yourself.

My daughter has an electric scooter at a very large university where unfortunately scooters get stolen on a daily basis. We purchased this lock to keep her scooter safe. It took a little getting used to but it does what it's supposed to do!

My teenager has been using this lock on an e-scooter for over a year. It locks onto the scooter shaft when riding and securely locks the scooter up when parked. The key access does have a cover, which is nice because we have excess dust living in Arizona and it protects the lock. I highly recommend!

I got into a collision on my scooter and wrecked the plastic holding bracket. Scott sent me a replacement one for free - from Australia to Miami - and also sent me some ScooterMax stickers. I put them on my scooter. Talk about going out of your way for the customer!Aside from the excellent customer service, I have now bought two locks and they awesome!! (NOTE: always lock your e-scooter from the bottom near the front wheel - not up high near the handle bars. Thieves can unscrew/remove the handle bars and steal your scooter). The lock is very sturdy, mounts perfectly on any electric scooter without wobbling or falling off, and comes with a set of keys for fast and easy removal. It is coated in rubber and won't scratch your scooter/bike frame. The best $60 I ever spent - thanks Scott!!!!

I was shopping for a great Lock for my new scooter and found this awesome Lock at a great price. It is Super Tough and very difficult to break. Specs says cannot be cut, sawed nor freeze. Has a sliding door to cover keyhole to keep dirt and rain out. Also comes with mounting clamp so no need to carry it around while riding. I recommend this for Bikes, Scooters 🛴 or 🏍️ Mopeds

After a year of unsuccessful searching for a lock for my eGlide 120 apart from awkwardly fitting a chain between the wide spokes of the rear wheel, I found this lock on Amazon in September 2022. It is very clearly well-made, strong and with silicone coating to protect the scooter from scratches. Fits easily around the stem of the scooter and adjacent poles etc. It sits in a convenient cradle while riding.Recently, near-disaster - I lost one of the keys and could not get a replacement from Mister Minit or a locksmith. Then I contacted the supplier via Amazon Messages. I was blown away bt the immediate and very pleasant response - just send us the serial number on the other key and we will send you a replacement pair - without charge! The new keys arrived several days later. - fromAmerica.
