I'm in the middle of an LS swap on a land rover defender 90. The glass fuses where looking a little tired. Replaced the glass fuse block with these Hellas and could not be happier with the results. Almost a perfect fit and picked up two additional fuses per block as a bonus. I don't doubt these can handle 20 or even 30 amp loads with the proper wiring size and connectors.

I used these, bought 2 of them, to replace the round glass fuse blocks in my 1986 exRAF Land Rover ninety. They work perfect. I had to trim the hole to fit them a little but no big deal.

This fits into a space limited control box nicely, is durable for reasonable life and does have a nice tight fitting clear cover (with "O" ring, hence may be able to flag an IP rating.

Dont listen the others about leads sticking out... Its a panel mount connector, with opposite fuse side access, its supposed to be this way. you can see in my picture the panel mount and how the connector is supposed to be mounted. The fuses are on one side the push in connectors are on the other. This matches my other hella connectors on this car, so it's original. Part came faster than the shipping said it would.

Good quality fuse block. I installed in a road race car, and i'm happy with the quality and good price. I chose Hella for their reputation as a quality supplier of lighting and electrical stuff. I'm happy to say they make good stuff.

Yes the unit is heavy duty plastic. But very BAD engineering! You cannot add components to this 8 fuse unit. You fill ALL 8 at once or FORGET IT. And after you wire it, HOW DO YOU INSTALL IT FLAT? As the wires you install connect to the BOTTOM of the unit, HOW DO YOU INSTALL IT FLAT? To make matters WORSE, the leads are countersunk into the bottom! HAVE FUN CONNECTING IT! And p.s. the fuses shown are NOT included.

This small fuse box is built well and allows you to power each fuse independantly so that each can be fed from a different power source (swithed or unswitched). Using this in my race truck is a lot more practical and cost effective than seperate inline fuse holders. I cut a rectangular hole in my .25 inch thick aluminum switch panel and mounted it with the fuses and cover facing out for ease of access to ghe fuses if I were to blow one. It reguires two 5mm machine screws to secure it however you mount it, which i found at our local TSC. All in all this is a good product well worth its price.
