From our home in Norway, Helly Hansen has been making professional grade gear to help people stay and feel alive for more than 140 years. It all started in 1877 when sea captain Helly Juell Hansen found a better way to stay protected from the harsh Norwegian elements. Soon thereafter, Captain Hansen and his wife Margrethe launched a business producing waterproof oilskin jackets, trousers, sou’westers and tarpaulins made from coarse linen soaked in linseed oil – and the legend was born!

We ski a lot out west and in Europe and my wife loves these bibs - they are comfortable and form fitting!

Bought these with intention to ski tour and downhill ski in these bibs and they have been perfect for each activity. The vents are perfect and make the bibs breathable in warmer days. The zipper on the side of the bibs make for easy take off and efficient bathroom breaks without having to take the bibs off!

These snow pants are comfortable and allow for a great range of motion. Even with a 30 inch inseam, everything fit really well. The side zipper is convenient. Nothing beats the kangaroo pocket though… fits my phone, protein bar, chapstick. Very convenient.

OK, the only reason these did not get a 5 star is that they are a bit awkward to put on. There is only one zipper on the right, then you need to step into them while putting the shoulder straps over your head. Other than that. Awesome. Very warm, comfortable.
