Your cart is empty.The Hen Pen Pop-Up Brooder has been meticulously designed and is exclusive to My Pet Chicken. We tested and designed this premium enclosure to solve the most common issues for those of you who raise baby chicks and small animals.
Our premium brooder is made of thick, strong material, and it's fully enclosable to keep animals safe from mischievous hands and paws.
No more jailbreaks. After two to three weeks, chicks are often able to escape traditional brooders, and you can guess what happens then: poop (so much poop!) where you don't want it, and the possibility for animals to be injured or worse.
No more mess. While we encourage you to put down a layer of plastic under your brooder *just in case*, or to place it on a waterproof surface, our extensive testing has shown this brooder to be waterproof. You won't have to worry about water spills, or about bedding being kicked all over the place.
No corners for chicks to get trapped in. Corners are no bueno when it comes to raising chicks! They huddle when frightened, and tragedy can sometimes befall the ones stuck in the corner. Our octagon design ensures their safety.
No more waste. You can use this brooder year after year, hatch after hatch. We carefully designed and tested this to stand the test of time.
Cleaning and storage: Wipe down the brooder with damp paper towels and allow it to completely dry before folding up for storage to avoid mildew and mold. Once dry simply collapse and fold into storage bag.

Moved them into my larger brooder at about 4 weeks. But it’s a good backup brooder for a few young ducklings, about as waterproof as you can get without breaking the bank on Amazon

We bought this to house our pullets for a short period of time, we had a total of 10 hens and it worked great had to house the birds in our basement so this worked absolutely beautifully! I would say don’t house more than 8-10 birds they will grow fast and you need those pin feathers to grow in before putting them outside in your coop!It also cleans up really well too!We put down wood shavings only on the bottom of this.Also folds for easy storage! I give this 10 Stars ⭐️ highly recommend and definitely would buy again should we need one!

Great way to keep baby chicks in doors! Keeps dust and odor down. Also no worries of little escapees! Must buy, well worth it!

This Brooder is a great concept, but as older folks, it is very hard to bend over into the brooder to pet or catch the chicks. They moved to the other side and the brooder is quite large. After two weeks, my chicks were flying up to the top, but I couldn't use the zip on lid because I still needed to use my heat lamp. Overall, I was unhappy with this brooder, but will keep for when I have a chicken who needs to be isolated. It's a large size and might be appropriate for a garage or shop, but if you're trying to put it into a bathroom or small room, it takes up a lot of room.
