Works great! I showed my week old chicks how to get water from it and it's been no turning back!

I like that this drinker came with the choice of using a nipple or a cup so that I can introduce the freshly-hatched chicks to whichever style of drinker they will be using later in life. My favorite part is that unlike a couple of other chick drinkers that I've used, this one DOES NOT LEAK! No promises that the chicks won't make a mess with the water, but the drinker itself is easy to refill and doesn't leak.

Works great for our large chicken brooder. This mounted to the wall with ease and the young chickens do not get the water dirty due to the raised controlled drinking ability. Simple to assemble and install to our brooder and a great product with what seems like great durability and wash-ability.

I bought 9 of these for my winter cages for my small birds, I have only used 3 of them so far because not all my birds are in the cages yet. I love how you have 2 different ways these can be mounted. Cleaning looks to be easy to do when I put them together which will be nice when that time comes my birds have done great with them and they haven't leaked at all which is great..

Are you tired of your water getting full of shavings and other stuff in your chicken coop? Do you have to change your water every few hours to keep it clean? This Hen's Choice™ 1L (32 oz) Drinker W/Cup is relatively small - Think of 1 liter soda bottles and that is about the size of this waterer. See photos where I try to show the measurements. It attaches well to the hardwire (1/2 inch squares) on our coop. I don't think it will work well on flimsy chicken wire. There are two options for the water spout and we are opting for the larger trough versus the small water spout (photos show both). So far this is working really well in a smaller part of the run where we have pullets - We don't have to change the water as often as with the ground feeders. The only thing that is a challenge is it's hard to place a water warming device in this waterer because it is so small - so it will work better for us on days where the temps are above freezing. The included spring secures the waterer in place really well. The top is flat so it's important to secure this waterer really well as already two of our hens have tried to roost on the top. Ideally these waterers should have a top that discourages roosting (usually the tops are triangular in shape).Overall happy with this small waterer as it is working as intended for a smaller area within the run. We don't out our waterers in the coop as we try to keep the moisture levels as low as possible in the coop - hens exhale heat and moisture and that breeds bacteria, so keeping water outside the coop (in he run area) helps keep the coop relatively dry. On super cold days (below zero) where hens stay in the coop, this water can be used to avoid spilled water, if it gets attached securely.

Love that this comes with the cage hanger as well as the spring to affix it to the cage so I don't have to go find a hanger. It comes with the bowl type water dispenser and also the drip type so you can choose what works best for your chicken. I haven't tried the dripper one yet but the bowl one worked just fine however I think it is a bit big which would allow for more dirt/bedding to get in. Otherwise, it works fine. Only other thing I would change is to have the flat top be one that discourage chickens from trying to stand on top of it. This is a great all-in-one water dispenser kit and I would recommend chicken keepers to get a few of these to have on hand (at least two so while you're cleaning one you can have the other in use, or put supplements/vitamins in one and the other fresh water).

There are a few things I really like about this water container, like the automatic filling of the water cup, the hanger that can be mounted inside or outside of the pen, and the flip-top lid, making it easy to refil with water. However, there are also a few things I don't like, one of which is the reason for the 3 stars. The water nipple attachment doesn't work on the side, because once water starts coming out it continues and leaks all the water out. It would be nice if there was a hole in both the side and the bottom, with a plug for whichever hole was not in use, since the nipple attachment really needs to be coming out of the bottom. A couple of other things I don't like are that the whole top doesn't come off, which makes cleaning more difficult, and the same applies to the hole for the attachment not being in the bottom, some water always remains in the container. If you want to use the cup attachment, then it is a nice little dispenser, but if you were hoping to use the nipple, I think you will be disappointed.
