I bought this for my halflinger mare.It has lots of padding for you and your horse.Comes with a medium gullet. (More like a medium narrow compared to the wintec saddles.)Gullet is easy to change out.I would advise also purchasing all the gullets that HDR has available.

I’ve only ridden in this saddle once so far, but right from the get go, it’s extremely comfortable. It fits my horse perfectly and she has average sized withers. I can’t speak of its endurance yet or how well it holds up over time, but it seems to be well made. I feel very secure in the seat. It’s a very beautiful saddle.

It pushes you forward and makes it difficult to maintain a balanced position.It is not comfortable to ride in, even for short periods of time.I have tried adjusting the stirrups and the saddle pad, but nothing seems to help.(thank you to the seller though for being kind and helping me for return though).

My daughter needed a saddle for her Thoroughbred and purchased one that didn’t come close to sitting right on his back. When she received this saddle and tried it on his back she was thrilled. She’s very pleased with the way it sits even on his back. It’s a size 18 because my daughter is 6’1” tall so it fits her as well.
